Does Outdoor Legacy help customers with firmware updates on the old adders? I’m really not Tech savvy when it comes to computers.

We typically do not go into any detail over firmware updates because there are so many and so many versions that it's impossible to keep up with them all. I would suggest giving a call to AGM directly. They have always walked our customers through firmware updates over the phone.

Can the battery be charged without being in the scope?

Yes. The batteries can be charged inside the scope, or with a docking station that is included in the box.

Do I need to take the battery out when I’m not using or can I keep it in

It is typically safe to leave the battery in the scope if you are using it on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. We will remove the batteries if the scope is going to be put up for several weeks at a time.

Will it work on a bolt gun?

Depends on the stock length. Some guys have been able to make it work on a bolt action with a longer rail and short stock. Typically a youth model bolt gun will also work. We have found that you can't get the scope back far enough on a standard stock bolt action though.
