Agneepath Scheme Explained

As the government has launched a new hiring scheme in the Armed forces with the name Agnipath, it has brought around a lot of chaos and confusion where some citizens are in support while many others are criticizing. Criticism is mainly due to the issues of short tenure and lack of basic perks, pension and privileges which in general come along when a soldier serves in the armed forces. By cutting off pension Govt will not put money on modern war machineries.. They will use only on Election Rallies.. After 4yrs.. 22 or 24yr or 26yr old guy again starting a new life is not at all normal.. With 10th or 12th pass he will be sent home saying he is not fit to work any more in army.. How will he get job and even if he gets job he will not be paid 40000.. With 10 lakhs - 15 lakhs in hand usually parents will only try to arrange marriage and spend whole money on marrisge, honeymoon, relatives, pregnancy.. Remember they come from poor families, villages, towns for them money is biggest thing.. Spend full amount on useless things and finally.. Unemployed.

This video has done an excellent job in explaining the shortcomings of this scheme . I am sure the government means well , but to spend a substantial amount of tax payers money to train soldiers and then release them into normal society it’s grossly unfair . In the west , retired soldiers find very hard to get accustomed to the civilian life after leaving the army . Moreover , these young men are putting their lives at risk & as there is no provision for their family members in the event of them losing life , it comes across as a cheap solution to reduce unemployment . These sort of schemes can work in the corporate sector , but in the army there is so much investment by the government as well as the recruit , soldiers should be allowed to stay in the army ‘till they retire. It’s beggars belief that vain actors can earn millions & the real army HEROES are paid pittance for their life . Nitish - you need to be lauded for putting your point across so eloquently .

By cutting off pension Govt will not put money on modern war machineries.. They will use only on Election Rallies.. After 4yrs.. 22 or 24yr or 26yr old guy again starting a new life is not at all normal.. With 10th or 12th pass he will be sent home saying he is not fit to work any more in army.. How will he get job and even if he gets job he will not be paid 40000.. With 10 lakhs - 15 lakhs in hand usually parents will only try to arrange marriage and spend whole money on marrisge, honeymoon, relatives, pregnancy.. Remember they come from poor families, villages, towns for them money is biggest thing.. Spend full amount on useless things and finally.. Unemployed.

Well some things I would like to point out : 1. One the best trained Israeli Defence Forces have TOD of 3 yrs, so from this example, no way 4yrs of TOD will lead to $hit soldiers.......... 2. Armed Forces are really short on Budget...... Indian Army ordered 50ish LCH & 7 Apache for an Army size of 10L 😑 these are just because of short of funds....... 3. It's Armed Forces, not national employment scheme.... Please take it very seriously....... 4. Army shouldn't be something to be played with on basis of you'll think.......

sorry to say but this is so so so misleading. according to him army will induct 12000 soldiers instead of 60000 that means in long run army will have only 2.5lakh soldiers instead of 12.5lakhs. This is pure SHIT.. army will maintain 10lakh soldiers and in long run through agniveer 40lakh soldiers will be selected and out of them 10lakh soldiers will be selected as permanent soldiers who will get all benefits of regular soldiers. its like selecting few soldiers for ghatak platoon from whole battalion. army is going to be benefitted and also recruitment is also going to increase by 4fold.

भाई जो महत्वपूर्ण बात है वो तो किसी भी चैनल वालों ने नही बताई है कि आखिर मे आंदोलन हो क्यूं रहा था और कौन कर रहे है? पूरे भारत मे 1 लाख 29 हजार लड़के ऐसे है जिनका फिजिकल मेडिकल सब कुछ पुरा कर चुके थे मात्र उनकी एग्जाम बची थी और इस एग्जाम को सरकार 2 साल से कोरोना का बहाना लेकर आगे बड़ाती रही और लास्ट मे जाकर इन्होने कैंसल कर दी सारे सपनो पर पानी फेर दिया । हमे अग्निपथ से कोई शिकायत नहीं थी बस हमारी एग्जाम ही करवा लेते । और ना ही ये मुद्दा किसी मीडिया वाले ने उठाया ।

लेकिन नीतीश भाई ने मुख्य मुद्दा तो बताया ही नहीं 😌 हमने Airforce का form भरा : dec 2019 में Written exam हुआ: Nov 2020 में Written exam clear किया: nov 2020 में फिजिकल टेस्ट पास किया : जन 2021 में मेडिकल टेस्ट पास किया : मार्च2021 में और मेरिट लिस्ट में नाम आया मई2021 में और वह 1.5 साल से अपने joining letter का इंतजार कर रहा है और फिर अचानक 14 जून 2022 को पता चला कि सरकार ने उस पूरी भर्ती को ही रद्द कर दिया यह कहकर कि अब जो भी भर्ती होगी नई स्कीम से ही होगी मतलब 3 साल बर्बाद 😭😭 इसीलिए इतना प्रोटेस्ट हो रहा है आपकी राय में यह कितना तर्कसंगत है

COVID reason was valid my father was in ARMY too at that particular time they were not getting leave to go home and many of them didn't go due to the same.. many of the army soldiers were found covid positive who were deployed in siachin or assam borders where in it affected the man power and you can not replace someone that person within single day and you can't even keep a single person on siachin glacier or assam borders because they wouldn't survive if they will be kept for so long.. all documentation works were stopped who were about to get retired they were asked to extend there retirements.. rest everything seems to be valid as you said👌

I agree during that period its will be a national safely issue if such exams were happened. Covid is a reason no doubt but after covid was not there in india ( that much) still these aspirants were asking and requesting govt. Point is govt should said clearly that yes we were planning some schemes that's why we are not taking exams. That's a point of what's make them angry
