So was Agatha actually a villian? I rewatched the show and I was lowkey really thinking about this. I feel like they tried really hard to paint Wanda in a heroic light but ultimately, it was Wanda that was holding that whole town hostage. All so that she could keep her fake husband and fake kids. I understand the show was about her grief but regardless of her intention, she should take responsibility for her actions in some way. That line from Monica about how the townspeople had “no idea what she sacrificed for them” uhmmm sacrifice what exactly? She only got what she had at the expense of everyone else. That line was so strange to me. Sure Agatha was trying to take her powers and stuff, but note how she also mentioned that Wanda had “no idea what she unleashed into the world” and that she was “destined to destroy us all” Idk just little things to take note of.

Exactly, everyone on the internet is like "omg we forgive Wanda because she was sad". Her grief is both understandable and relatable, but being sad doesn't mean you can just hurt people, and even if that happens unintentionally, you have to take responsibility for it. I liked the show in general, but I also think Wandavision did a terrible job at defining that even if Wanda isn't truly evil, she isn't an entirely good person either. I'll just wait for Multiverse of Madness, hopefully there she can finally realize that there's consequences to her actions since the trailers heavily implied she's going to make mistakes again.
