Just ask your local Hindu to attend a havan and you’ll see we still connect with Agni exactly as you described regularly, from birth to death. Om Agnaye swaha, idam namama.

@orderoffire7 ай бұрын
What does "hidden esoteric meaning" actually mean? Usually, it means a particular guru or cult leader's idiosyncratic interpretation, which they try to convince people is the "true, ancient, or secret," meaning that they actually cannot possibly know.

I was with you till you addressed Hindu veda as a myth. I'm sure you won't do this to any other religious texts.
@sahilsingh60487 ай бұрын
You dont even know difference btw this myth and myth(false) , first have proper knowledge.
@orderoffire7 ай бұрын
I absolutely will, actually. All religions are myths. It's actually fascinating to watch Hindus act like Christians. (Christianity is also a myth.)

Do the Vedic beings exist? Yes. Are they myths? Yes.

@@orderoffire Hey man since you're trying to build a following (honestly I quite like this movement, I'll be following it for a bit), I think you will soon find that a lack of belief is quite detrimental to the cohesion of the movement, and especially leads to suboptimal outcomes when competing against another following which has a much more dogged (even if unfounded) belief. The weak horse gets whipped. It's as simple as that. Hindus have come to realize (like the lady above) that due to their general tolerance, there has been a one-sided dismissal of their beliefs (compared to Islam etc). The same can be said of Christianity in Europe for instance. A "myth" is as real as it is believed to be, and Hindus have learned from their enemies. That's all there is to this.

@@arjun_ragafanatic Question: Are you saying that we should fake it? Is getting a bigger following more important than the philosophy itself -- which has been articulated in two books? Is popularity more important than principle? (Tactically, you are correct) These are the kinds of questions our group deals with.

Myth is a very disrespectful word for Vedas & Puranas. They are called itihasa or history. The existence of Agni or fire is not a myth.
@JackDonovan7 ай бұрын
You're right, fire is not a myth.
@edhamann91477 ай бұрын
Really, Vedas are śruti and puranas are smriti. It is Mahabharata and Ramayana that are itihasas.
