From his Study: In Stanza 9, the phrase "The Tree that gave birth to the Lamb" has been discussed in some detail, and it was indicated that its phrasealogy is more common among West syriac writes. This makes it unlikely that the text travelled from East to West. I don't understand why Rooha Media ommitted this valuable information., but Is this pointing to an evidence that Persian Christians were indeed under Syrian patriarch of Antioch before 5th century ie, before they adopted nesthorianism.?

George A Kiraz പറയുന്നത് ഇത് West Syriac liturgy ൽ നിന്നും, Church of the East കടമെടുത്തു എന്നതാണ്. From his Study: In Stanza 9, the phrase "The Tree that gave birth to the Lamb" has been discussed in some detail, and it was indicated that its phrasealogy is more common among West syriac writers. This makes it unlikely that the text travelled from East to West. More interestingly, among West syriac writers of the 5th and 6th century, the ram/lamb is no longer held by the branch/tree but the tree gives birth. East syriac writers do not adopt this typology. I don't understand why Rooha Media ommitted this valuable information., But, Is this pointing to an evidence that Persian Christians were indeed under Syrian patriarch of Antioch before 6th century ie, before they adopted nesthorianism.? One must know that the, Church of Fars which Syrian Catholics claim to have had spiritual relationships with malabar church only adopted nesthorianism in late 8th century.

The thing is, "Syrian Patriarch of Antioch" does not necessarily mean the Syriac Orthodox Patriarch of today, there are 5 claimants to the Patriarchate of Antioch today, all thanks to various schisms in the Universal Church, that unfortunately split. Even within the Church of Antioch, various regions used different liturgies. The jacobites in one region used one sort of liturgy, the Persians used a different one, the Christians in Jerusalem, for a very long time used another liturgy until they eventually adopted the Greek Liturgy. The Maronites of Lebanon also use a distinct liturgy. So East borrowing from West or vice versa is very much possible, just like how the Maronites borrowed from Nestorians, and the Jacobites borrowed from the Greek. As long as it isn't imposition, like what the Latins did to the Marthoma Nsaranis, it should be fine. Also, Fars was still a province under the Church of the East, many scholars would argue that Nestorianism (which btw is not rlly Nestorianism) was one school of theology present within the Church of the East, adopted because the Sassanians wanted to alienate the Church of the East from the Byzantine Empire...I have heard (not sure how factual this is) that Mar Issac of Ninveh was actually a proponent of Chalcedonian Theology for example... Anyways, only God knows what actually happened

​@elvisgeorge9613 There is a Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch. Antioch was a Greek city like Alexandria so I don't think the majority of Antiochians were under the Syrian Orthodox Patriarch.

nop learn more about the Syriac traditons this hymn is common for both Eastern and West Syriac Churches and this is the East Syriac/Chaldean version. so you cannot say that this hymn was copied by Chaldeans
