I love how calm sikhs seem to be. They aren't trying to force their religion on you like Islam. I love this. Just a nice conversation. Keep up the good work guys.

I liked your comment and then un-liked it as you said Islam is forced upon you. I'm a Muslim and have never forced anyone ever. If it was a forceful religion we would have taken over the world with ease by now.
@اسماعيلالخطابالسندي4 жыл бұрын
@lol and how were these weapons made? Without the oil provided by the Muslim countries you would be on your knees. Begging and taking little by little. But that is not how the world works. In order to have good strong world economy we must share our resources amongst each other. But if Islam was forceful then we would have no need to be kind and care about world economy. Like Shah Faisal of Saudi Arabia said we can easily go back to eating dates and ZamZam and simple foods. Islam is not a forceful religion. End quote. Edit: Even now if you were cut off from oil, your worlds would come crashing down above your heads. The west has not come so far that it can run off electrical and technological advances completely.
@اسماعيلالخطابالسندي4 жыл бұрын
@lol I've read sahib Hadith. Please quote me a specific one rather than heresay. Nobody was forced to convert, but paying jizya for non Muslims is a must. It is a form of tax. Muslims may possibly pay more tax than Non-Muslims in Muslim countries depending on how much they earn. As Muslims we pay normal tax and another tax which goes to the poor which is 2.5% of our earnings to the poor each tax year. Non Muslims do not pay the latter tax instead they pay jizya. So jizya is fair and out of the question, but the forceful conversion part is the focus here.
@اسماعيلالخطابالسندي4 жыл бұрын
@lol your comment on oil is completely false. Yes they have oil, but the largest oil company in the world is Aramco in Saudi. I see you are here with a full cup and bring alot of heresay with you. You are not in this conversation for clarifications, you are not conversing to understand but to respond.

His biggest mistake was focusing on what bad things "muslims" do, and not checking what proofs does Islam has to offer for itself that made it the fastest growing religion and second largest.

Waheguru. Whether you believe or disbelieve, on both sides you will just have a fancyful story. For the Gurus, Gursikhs, Saints, and Realized beings they have a living experience of the Oneness for themselves. Clearly one can see that this body is just an accumulation of food and that the mind is an accumulation of impressions. What we truly are, What is truly immortal in us, is the Oneness(or God that is more commonly used but doesn't completely capture the description of the Oneness), the Oneness that is all pervading, all doing, all achieving, all experiencing. Sikhi is about connecting with that Oneness, which is immortal, and transcending your limited nature which is subject to time.

Good video I enjoyed it very much I liked that both of you listened to each other.if you have ever felt the presence of God, what you have felt and experienced is beyond words.I wish all of you, that seek God read what the Holy Text and Book's tell us.The Guru's are asking and telling us, is to mediate in God's name, think of God only ,let no image or shape form in your mind, only recite the Holy name of God over and over, in silence and hear the Holy name of God that you are calling.

For becoming a sikh one has to be initiated as amritdhari. One has to have disciplined life. Read morning and evening prayers and night too. One has to wake up early and meditate on god name in early hours. Basics of sikhi has quite a lot videos on their channel for non Punjabis guiding to sikhi. Ultimately gurdwaras are in every country so they might help you.

When the gurus claimed they were prophets it means one of two things, he either was a liar or he was truthful, so by looking at the biography of the gurus we can deduce whether he was a liar or truthful... If someone lies why do they lie? for / fame/ power/ respect etc.. its for some type of worldly benefit. Now we can confirm the gurus were liars if by reading there itihaas (history of the gurus) we can find evidence's that he had inclination towards some kind of worldly things because then we can confirm he is a liar. But in regards to the gurus they spread a message and lived a life that did not benefit them and Jagraj Singh gave a great example the 9th guru being beheaded to save Hinduism just for freedom of religion even though the gurus were against some of the Hinduism practices ... where is the benefit for the gurus and the Sikh Panth there? free langar to everyone where is the benefit for them & Sikhs? and I'm sure a lot of people can give more example but the point is if an individual is not gaining any worldly benefit from lying then why would he lie? if you study the gurus and what they taught you will see he doesn't fit the psychological profile of a liar. We are not blind people we think with logic & a lot of muslims, Hindus and Christians have come in Sikhi as they knew these men were not ordinary people they came with the completed message and with a philosophy like no other.
@damansingh77758 жыл бұрын
I could not agree more to this, Jagraj veerji made this point in the starting but that guy didnt pick up the idea of free langar, and the sacrifices Gurus made for humanity. They lived their life in Gods name, they never classified themselves as the Ones to pray to.

Thats not nice what you just said is very anti Sikhism if Islam was a terrorist religion guru Hargobind singh ji wouldn't have built a mosque for them. At the end of the day you should feel your religion is the best (otherwise why follow it) but you shouldn't disrespect other religions, i apologies on behalf of my brother here who offended any Muslims because this is not true Sikhism. If bad Muslims what to comment about the gurus let them its not going to change the fact that the gurus were enlightened beings. We shouldn't be going to their level and trying to cuss their prophet back.

The man speaking to the Sikh feels self important and perhaps his intellect and pride has blinded him to simplicity of what is being presented to him. When people are wise in their own minds and they are enamored by their own reflection then they rarely can see the true Light of God.

TRUE!!! Not every mind can change. Because some people are stuck up. They have a little ego problem. Rather then try it, look for facts... They just have made up their mind because of a bad experience in life. It's like those people that get into a Car Accident and then have proof why no one should drive a car ever. They have just made up their mind. There is not telling them that maybe they were just bad drivers at the time.

Because there are deeper implications, like "Can you experience God without believing in God?" or at least "Can you strive to meet God without actually believing that you will be successful?" Sikh = worship through the Gurus (claim they have experienced God- subjective) Christian= worship through Jesus (claim they have experienced Jesus/God- subjective) Hindus = worship through idols, many gods. (illogical to worship an idol) Jews = worship through Ezra (like other religions, associating a human with God) Zoroastrinism = polytheists. Buddhism = rejects the notion of a creator God but does honor enlightened beings as deities. Islam = the Only religion that worships God alone, and do not associate anyone or anything with God. They worship directly to God, the Creator.

I am open for suggestions & correction so please let me know if I am wrong. If Sikhs and Christians are worshiping God in a subjective way and Muslims are not. Then Muslims are worshiping in an objective way. because objectivity is opposite of subjectivity. If that is the case then Muslims are doing same as Hindus (as Idols are objective representation of faith). Living in a "relative world" and in a "human form" we can only interact subjectively or objectively, however, God is beyond subjective/objective limits. Since we humans are not, we have to pick a channel to interact/worship God. Now you tell me, are Muslims worshiping god in Objective way (idols, i doubt it) or subjectively. In my understanding, subjective way is better, because a devotee can develop on something that is within. On the other hand, an objective idol can become a distraction & limited in personal development. Where as a subjective (such as love) can change & improve you from within. If you know a third way of interaction please let us know. Also, explain how it is not subjective or objective.
