@@fac-u-entertainment6307 Not necessarily. It's mostly 90s thing. Early NYHC was much more in line with early non-metallic HC. Though, Agnostic Front, Cro-Mags and DRI were the first to play this kind of crossover style. From then on, it became almost a norm. Even though I came from metal scene first, I like my hardcore much more closer to primitive punk roots. Like earlier Agnostic Front, Minor Threat, the whole UK82 and d-beat scene. What can I say? I like faster punk/hardcore much more than groovy one.

@Alexxx No it's not! It's NYHC, which has always had a little more of a metal edge than most Hardcore Punk. Crossover Thrash are albums like Suicidal Tendencies - How Will I laugh, Crumbsuckers - Beast on My Back, DRI - 4 of a Kind, Agnostic Front's - Cause For Alarm. Agnostic Front flirted with Crossover in their career during that album because Rob was a huge Metallica fan and wanted to take AF in that direction, which lead to Vinnie quitting the band because he didn't want AF to be metal. This is NOT crossover thrash.

I know it's not Fred Durst. I said he REMINDS me of him. No, I don't like Fred and being that this guy sounds like him to me is why I stopped listening at 1:12. It is my opinion that they could use a vocalist with a little more gruff. My opinion does not affect the band I'm sure, and they are not going to break up because of it.
