The staff that works in the passport department are very corrupt. They don't want to provide services that kenyans have paid for until they have been bribed. I was a victim in 2021. I went the extra mile of bribing for services which I gave them 4 weeks notice but still it wasn't enough. By the time I was supposed to leave the country, they said the machines are broken. Thank God I had my American passport that I was able to leave without the Kenyan passport. I had submitted my documents and biometrics by October 21st 2021 but I received my passport through DHL international services on July 2022. On checking my passport surely it was printed one week before my departure from Kenya. Meaning they just wanted more money from an American before they could give me my passport. Very shameful of them. The entire department needs new management.

Me too, I got a emergency passport in a day, it expired in 2019, I went back and renewed in a record 2 weeks, my wife and daughter had to wait for 4 months due to covid but they got their passports.
