The FDA collects a pay check after they allow the food companies to do their own testing to say "Yep it's safe." Then they collect a pay check after they allow the drug companies to do their own testing to say "Yep it's safe." They make money off the food that makes us sick, and they make money of the drugs that then "treat" us because we're eating poison. Then they issue recalls after the food/drug businesses have to say "oops, not safe after all." At the very least, it is conflict of interest. The FDA is currently worthless, and has been for a very long time.

Often to make it immune to the herbicides or other chemicals sprayed on the crops. Hybrid is the word for a cross bred plant (kind of like a Cockapoo is Cocker Spaniel and Poodle cross breed). We (and nature) have been doing that forever but the lab manipulation (engineering, previously called GMO/Genetically Modified Organisms) is only several decades old and we are starting to really see the consequences of that in our health and the environment.

Good morning!😊 Came across your video on my feed yesterday. Feel the same way as you do, and also have seen Casey and Callie speak. Also agree with what you talked about because of a lifelong struggle with inflammation and pain and having regular AND allergy doctors tell me there is nothing wrong. Thank the Lord for answered prayer, alternative medicine and ways of diagnosing. Unless the meat in question is tested, and there are other ways of doing that for pathenogenics or how/what it was fed and/or processed, it could be a number of things. (i.e. bruising during automated plucking). My stepdad was a retired USDA inspector and said if you saw how animals and the meat was treated at the packing houses, you would not eat it. We grew up on a farm that raised our own meat. I have had experiences growing my own broilers where I lost a large part of my flock thinking it was something I did wrong. Later to find out taking the birds in to a small local butcher for processing that it had happened to a lot of the other farmers that year. Hmmmm.... This year I took it one step further raising my birds(Cornish Cross), and they were still raised outside on grass in a tractor. Two things, I did NOT vaccinate them and fed them organic soy and corn free feed. HUGE difference in the health of the birds and their development. I did not lose one bird(at 8 weeks they averaged 7lbs! dressed out). And the meat had much better color and flavor. I do NOT believe it is a coincidence that so many birds, and other livestock, are being put down. Could say more, but it would be "scrubbed". The answer is grow your own or support local farmers. We do. It does make a difference. We also love Azure Standard. God bless and Shalom.😊

I stopped buying grocery store meats almost 2 years ago. We have a local chicken farmer who sells through my very local bulk food store. I don't buy a lot of it, because it's expensive, but I have been canning all that I am able. The same bulk food store sells local beef and pork sausage and bacon. I understand why good meat is so expensive, but I usually keep my beef-buying to ground beef. And my husband is happy with that. I'm so glad we have that little store. Not only is it handy, but they also host a farmer's market all summer, into the fall. When I have a crop failure, I can go there!

I have been studying health and nutrition for 50 years, looooong before it was 'popular'. To this day I still engage in online learning. It is horrific what Americans are exposed to in our food supply. People used to say 'I cant afford Organic' to which I would reply...'You can pay now or you can pay latter with disease and death". Same goes for your animal too. I buy my food from different place and have paid lots of extra for it too but I have health problems, as many of us do..don't get me started, so it is paramount to purchase from truly Organic farms. To me the largest problem in the last few decades is the Aerial Spraying..those white lines in the sky. There are 6+ cancer causing, death causing chemicals in the spray. It rains down all over the Earth killing ALL life. Lots of folks are figuring it out these days. We don have a chance for life if we dont stop the spraying. Ask yourself how many folks are complaining about crop failures and your average gardeners are complaining that their plants did not provide any food this year and previous years. Nothing will survive if the spraying is not stopped!!

It's not that I want to eat bad food but I'm barely buying groceries as it is. My whole $23 in food stamps don't do a whole lot and food banks aren't really worried about giving out organic. A lot of people have pretty tight budgets especially right now. In fact, groceries isn't even figured in on my bill list. I buy groceries with what I can after everything is paid. $100 to $150 a month Budget on groceries isn't leaving you able to make the healthiest choices. At the prices today, shopping as cheap as you can, is barely keeping food on your table for the month. Some people's choices literally are; buy more expensive healthier foods and eat for a half a month or shop cheaper and feed yourself for a whole month. Trust me, I would love to be able to afford the healthier foods but there are many other things that I have to consider in making that choice. Living on disability doesn't allow for a lot of choices.

Green muscle disease Also known as deep pectoral myopathy (DPM), this condition can occur when a chicken's breast muscles are bruised or have hemorrhages. DPM can be caused by increased blood flow to the breast muscles, which can happen when a chicken flaps its wings a lot. Other contributing factors include excessive noise, handling, and low oxygen levels. DPM usually only affects a few birds in a group, and it's often not detected until the chicken is deboned. I was told about 8-10 years ago to know where you food and water are coming from and to KNOW your GOD.

Last year , around this time , I was blessed to have assistance from our local food bank . Their Thanksgiving gift was a frozen turkey and "all the fixin's" . The turkey was duly defrosted properly (3 days in the refrigerator ) and prepared according to directions . When it came out of the oven it rested and was cut into . The meat was deep pink...bordering on red...in the breast ! It went back into the oven to be baked more . Although it looked thoroughly cooked , that color persisted !!! It broke my heart to "waste" food , but it didn't appear to actually be fit for human consumption ! Weeks later , it was time for the "christmas dinner" and again , a frozen turkey was offered . I politely declined and explained why . It would seem the lady had heard this before and looked embarrassed .

Good Morning, Constance... Your video this morning really caught my attention regarding what's going on with our food supply. I stopped eating commercially produced eggs 25 years ago due to the horrific odour & taste; after eggless months I started went to fully organic & pastured eggs...what a difference, they were and are like what i had growing up as a kid on a farm in south Mississippi. Then came the beef and chicken with subpar qualities. So I ditched commercially produced and switched to small local organic & pastured. I'm 66 now, and I'm massively picky about the sources of my foods. Yes, I pay more for quality over quantity, but my main concern is health. Up here near Fayetteville, it is a little easier to get local foods from respected sources. Even though I'm in the heart of Wal-Mart & Tyson country!!

The blood spots that you can find on the chicken breasts are actually caused by one of 2 things. 1) Air chilling the chicken before it is processed or 2) The bone marrow from the joints leak onto the meat which gives it an appearance of blood. I…like you don’t care to see this but I also worry about all of the hormones and additives that are fed to the meat birds in large poultry farms that supply the grocery stores. I raise and process my own meat birds every year so I know what I’m eating and how my birds are cared for. There have been times that I get into a hurry when processing and crack a joint the wrong way and the bone marrow escapes and leaks out on the the breast meat but it can be washed off if caught before it’s frozen. Freezing the meat before washing it off will make it more noticeable and does look like blood spots. I just have to remember to go slow and take my time then everything goes smoothly. And I never air chill my chickens before processing. I always use ice for at least 24 hours so the blood vessels don’t burst. Another reason why I don’t buy store bought chicken is because it tastes so “different” than my farm raised chicken. I assume it’s because of what I feed mine verses what is fed to a large poultry farm.

I have not purchased chicken from any Walmart here in the Fort Worth area where I live for over.a year for that very reason. I was finding not only deep tissue red spots in the thighs and breasts but small shards of bones. The meat looked almost like it was chopped up haphazardly and around the bones, were blood vessels still engorged with coagulated blood ! We took a chance this year for Thanksgiving and purchased a turkey from the local Walmart store and found the turkey to be the same: dotted with broken blood vessels. I am not a coroner but my guess, these birds are dying under extreme terror and blunt forces. We used to buy chubs of ground beef and there are two things I have found constantly: the meat had so much water injected into it that once cooked, it was almost half the weight and the second thing was we would find large arteries and veins ground into the meat, resulting in a nasty looking burger and a weird unchewable texture. I have switched to Costco and Kroger meats for about a year now and although my husband gets upset because we are spending more money at these two stores for the meat, he does agree that the quality is much higher than in the Walmart stores. Actually, I seldom use Walmart anymore for any reason because they no longer have people to check-out my purchase then bag it; instead, they rely completely on the self check-out method. As a consumer, this is a no for me.

It is so true a lot of the ingredients or farming practices in our country are not permitted in Europe. Our large manufacturers are not permitted to use certain dyes when they make a product that will be sold outside of the US but they still use them here. Things won’t change until more people decide to speak up. Unfortunately that won’t or can’t happen because not everyone can afford to buy good quality food. I don’t really know how to explain this but I believe the other reason is that most people just don’t ever question anything and just accept whatever is put in front of them. Between the water quality in most rivers that have been contaminated by chemicals from companies and the quality of our air I believe it’s essential to at least have the ability to choose where we source our food from.

After centuries of "follow my religion or die", it seems we are left with an excess of unwavering compliance. 🐑🐑🐑 I don't foresee americans standing up together - not soon, not ever. The tiny percentage who fought were erased. Those we look to now are controlled opposition. I hear crap like, "You can make the chem trails disappear with good thoughts." or, "Jeebus will save those who have complied" This age of nonsense won't last long.

I agree we need to know the source of our food, especially the meat. There are a lot of injections, including MRNA going into our animals, beef for sure, but most likely into chicken as well. I've also heard that it is being grown from cells in another way to adulterate our food. I, too, like the verse from Matthew and I think in Luke that states we will be protected from the things we ingest. Like Constance said, prayerfully consider what we are putting into our bodies and pray over the food for protection, along with sourcing the highest quality you can afford. Our government wants us to be sick and lifelong customers of Big Pharma, keep in mind this is coming from myself, a retired registered nurse. 💛🙏💛

Here’s a maybe answer to your concern about the blood spots in the chicken breast… Too fast processing. Improper handling and processing. Not letting the blood drain long enough before processing, which goes back to the too fast part. A bacterial infection - which can be caused by bad environment and raising of the birds. There are several companies that just don’t care. Then you get meat like that. It may be more expensive but definitely get your meat from a different source. I do all my own processing and have never seen this problem. But I try to do it correctly and humanely. Things just take time. One thing to remember if anyone decides to raise their own meat, be careful what you feed your butcher animals. Sometimes bad feed is the culprit. Hope this helps a little.

What would you suggest as a good feed for egg laying chickens?
@winterblue5219
@winterblue5219 Ай бұрын
@ Hello there! When getting feed for birds, I always look at content. Make sure it’s non gmo. That includes layer feed. For egg production in winter, I sometimes supplement with turkey layer. Enough light and water and a little warmth goes a long way. I don’t have city power so I go a completely different route than other people. I give scratch grains but supplement with alfalfa and soaked old grains such as old rice or quinoa etc. As long as the dry grains are soaked for several hours, it won’t negatively affect the birds. I do a lot of research and through trial and error I’ve come up with a solution that works for my situation. We live at higher altitude and colder temps. Sometimes I supplement with canned dog food in dead winter. Just for the fat content. I give all green kitchen scraps and the hay. Anything to get them thru the cold season. The conclusion being to find what works for you and your flock. Hope that gives you a direction to drop down into. 😁

Those spots in the meat are called petechiae and are caused by a severe lack of vitamin C and K in the feed given to the birds. Their blood vessels are so weak that they rupture spontaneously and under stress, causing blood spots and bruising. The producers are only feeding the bare minimum amounts of the lowest quality feed with nutritional macros that bolster growth at the expense of everything else. These same birds do not live normal lives if they are pulled from the corporate grow houses, often having their legs break under their weight, showing intense aggression, and having signs of obvious pain. The meat produced is full of stress hormones that can be incorporated into our own bodies when that meat is consumed. I buy by chicken from a farmer friend and suggest everyone do the same.

You are so right about the meats from Walmart. I refuse to purchase meats of any kind from Walmart. The chicken breasts have this weird stringy fibrous aspect to them that makes you really wonder what kind of steroids they have been feeding these poor birds! This store has also been known to inject fluid into their meats to bulk them up, so they make more money per pound. I stock up when Fresh Market has the Chicken & Chuck sales on Tuesdays. Homestead Heart did a video just the other day about an article where a study is being done about injecting our fruits and veggies with vaccines. This is being sanctioned and funded by our government. The number of unsafe ingredients allowed in our foods is despicable.

My husband said when a chicken suffocates, probably while being packed in those chicken transport trucks, it causes the blood vessels to explode causing the multiple vessels showing in your chicken. So the chicken suffocates and even though it’s dead, the chicken is processed for sale anyway, instead of being tossed, and unbeknownst, the people buy it. I would have returned it to Walmart to get my money back.

I have noticed the same thing with chicken, except I get mine from Costco! The first time I saw it, I thought that the chicken had been horribly abused. The next time, I realized that something else was going on. The question becomes, “What would cause the vessels to rupture?” In humans it would be medication, disease, injury, or low/high atmospheric pressure. For chickens, I can only guess that it could be diet or the method of slaughter. Two of the methods used to calm chickens before slaughter could result in blood vessel damage. One involves the use of CO2 and another uses low pressure.

They are sweet tasting without any toppings, I read many like them for deserts. I took to family dinner cubed with less brown sugar and butter... My family liked them and emptied the dish. It was more savory/sweet when you add butter. The little bit of brown sugar worked. I like them for myself with just butter... They are so good.
