These keep my spirits up. Just as I got Titanic packs arriving, I had to take a step back from builds for a while. So the mountain of boxes keeps getting taller. Hopefully, I will be able to get cracking again by winter. Oh, znd I have Bismark and Leopard both half-done forming their own cardboard hills beside the mountain.

Was surprised this last week by not only getting this issue, but the next as well. After some fiddly stages, that one is easy. Just add two more hull sections, then start the base. Get your big screwdriver ready.

If any of these part works companies ever fancied making a narrowboat I'd be happy to let them come and use 'Whole in the Water' as their real world example. We have loads of old photos of her when she was a work boat. The fish hotel Titanic model is just about ready to be an artificial reef I see. Awesome looking model though Wayne. I had to giggle when you the hull, body work at the beginning of the video. Hang it from the bathroom ceiling.

I actually think that big section of the keel is plastic with a thin piece of metal on the bottom of it. That's why it's so cold. Plus, if you look carefully at it, there's a join line there. Probably figured it'd be too heavy to ship such a large piece and they'd lose money on the shipping charges for this issue.

I've done Bismarck and I'm on stage 120 of Titanic, at full length she's longer than Bismarck.

I've seen a Bismarck build just like this and that was sealed and made remote and it worked fine
