Agreements in restraints of legal proceedings as given in sec 28 of the Indian Contract Act is really important because it ensure that injustice is not caused to anyone who is entering in a contract and he/she always has the liberty to go to the court. May be there is an agreement limiting time for legal action. It means that any person who tries to break the limtitations of the limitation act will ultimately enter into a avoid agreement only.
