I was told the foot pedal only road mode is because of some European law that says at that high road speed fully loaded you need to be able to have both hands on the wheel. But yeah, would be nice if they had Anerican software that didn't have that requirement

Hi Mike, you should definitely try out the selfpropelled sprayers or the twin axle pulltype sprayer with the 45m (164 feet) boom from the German brand Horsch Leeb. Their Autoboom is extremely good! Greetings from the free state of Bavaria in Germany where your Fendt Tractors are build ;)
@TackleTheDog Жыл бұрын
I ran a Leeb 6400 high clearance and boy did i hate that thing. Hopelessly underpowered, sensors breaking left and right and the joystick had so much latency. In the first couple months we had it, the mechanics were out every single time we used it to fix something or another. Our farm’s was the better ones sold in the area as the mechanics were at ours the least. Very pissed at that thing

Hey Mike, The stairs can be automated with the parking brake by changing factory settings (with help of a Agrifac mechanic). And the boomlock can come in automaticly when raise the boom tot max. height. I hear from factory servicemechanics, that machines with large booms (in Australia) can spray up to 15 mph without boom problems. The big screen is used for the optional Dynamic Dose Plus (DDP) option. Than you see your vehicle driving in Google Maps in the task that you have given it. Tasks can be made from satelite- or dronescans. It can also work with weedcamera's (AiC-Plus). Your dealer did a rinse by hand settings. But it is also an option to have a rinseprogram which does it fully automated for the tank only or the boom only or total machine in two or three steps. And your right about the control stick. Design is nice but material, colours, buttons en lights can be nice. Dit you notice that it has the shape of an small plant? And the armrest it self of a droplet? You made a good review for suchs a short tryout!! I hope you will get a second chance and have it a few days.

Hi Mike. Yes indeed. We in EU can spray when it's getting dark and during the night. Reason: there is less and less bees in EU and government tries to protekt bees :) In Poland large farms have from 500ha up to 2-3k ha. So much much smaller than in North America. Love watching your movies. I am looking forward for next one. Regards.

Haha, he wouldn't be able to direct seed at all since glyphosat will be illegal soon in germany🤯 So stupid here
@timderks59604 жыл бұрын
@@marvinecksteincool Yeah, really stupid that they rely on scientific data. You prefer lead in your water and asbestos as a fascia covering too I guess? Just because a ban makes something harder, doesn't mean it makes it worse. With the price of healthcare, even in countries with decent health insurance, it's a LOT cheaper to use expensive less harmful chemicals and not have to treat illness, than using cheap chemicals and having to spend a fortune on your health after you turn 50.
@marvinecksteincool4 жыл бұрын
@@timderks5960 lol personaly we do not use glyphosat since we only have smal fields and most of them with angle from 0- 20 degree but! scientific data: says: Firstly Glyphosat is probably cancerous says the who: also the who released a paper where they say nightshifts are probably cancerous! And nobody is making nightshifts illegal... Also, if you apply such chemicals you should protect yourself ( with gear) and others (when its not windy)... This was not the case for the incidents where glyphpsat was proven to probalby be the cause of cancer Secondly glyphosat is the most effective and hardest to get resistance weeds against it, so you can maintain low usage of the chemical over a very long time without any problems. The next best chemical in this aplication field is glyphosinat ( something completly diferent then glyphosat only the name sounds similar) it is proven to be more toxic to the fauna( animals & humans ) and stays 2-3 times longer in the ground then glyphosat. Ontop of that glyphosinat is easier to get resistant weeds for, this means after 10 years of use of glyphpsinat as total herbicide you will need about 2-3 % (glyphosat
@marvinecksteincool4 жыл бұрын
@@timderks5960 i don't know what more expensive total herbicide you talk about but all agents i know and i know this pretty well, are not as good as glyphosat, prove me wrong if you discovered a knew environment friendly total herbicide. But I don't want to make you hopes... Because you won't find any new (even only) herbicidal agents since in the last 30 years exactly none herbicidal agent was discovered. Even tho thousands of very smart people and many billions of usd went into discovery of one. No one found one. All of our herbicid bases were discovered more than 30 years ago. And resistance has been growing ever since, but the least it grew against glyphosat.
@marvinecksteincool4 жыл бұрын
@@timderks5960 oh and there is neither asbestos or lead in glyphosat, don't know where you get your scientific data but mine say glyphosat consists of carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen and phosphorus so... 🤷♂️ I hope you take your time to read this :) Many people see things are shit but only banning them is not a soulution when something worse will come as a successor...
