Picking up tough old first cut grass, why it wasn't rowed up! Saves the forager the strain as it's a few years old now

280hp to pick up 10ft of grass seems like a slight waist of the kit being used. At least 2 probably 3 into 1 row would be far more efficient. Reduced forward speed so less bouncing around, less turning on the ends so more time chopping, no driving on the rows, easier to accurately load.........

Theres just something about the hum of a jf 👌. There was a contractor near me who ran 1 behind i think an 8210 deere in the late 90s early 20s

Harvester seems to be lacking in blowing power, maybe to small swath of grass, should really be at least 20ft for that machine

That harvester wouldn't be designed to take in more than 2 rows at the most

That outfit needs 3 rows in a swath. A JF 900 would be perfect for single rows with half the horsepower in front
