This is so beautifully and informatively produced that I had to subscribe. Ander's enthusiasm, reverence and pragmatic outlook are infectious. As a country lad too, I especially enjoyed his comment on feeling the need to get as far away from that lifestyle, only to later be drawn back into it. I'd love to visit his property soon!

I am into my 60's when all these things finally occurred to me, yet here is someone half my age who is expressing such wisdom and truth for himself and for what is right for the whole community of Earth! I completely relate to his insight that one is expected to flee their rural or small town life for the city to find "real, respectable" profession that everyone agrees is admirable and prestigious (and totally different to your whole life up to that point), and most importantly, lucrative! And for what? So you can feel totally lost and without a soul once you've acquired said profession? What a load or horseshit! (Pardon me that...) But seriously, right? I have three degrees and practiced medicine for ten years before I finally listened to my unhappy soul and returned to Nature and what I truly love most. Thankfully this man trusted his heart and his inner wisdom. Now he is not only living in harmony with himself but the greater community as well, AND sharing that wisdom and balance with the world; whoever will listen. Bravo! I feel hope for humanity listening to him and his wisdom and knowing there are others as well.

This is such a beautiful documentary about agro foresting. It is not only the beautiful way it has been filmed and edited but especially the person and his spoken words that illustrate the vision behind the concept that took my breath and made me completely silent inside. Honestly, this documentary strengthened and confirmed my new life destination. Thanks for sharing the video and for inspiring people to change their roles, behaviors and allover responsibilities on and for the fragile planet!

Stunning intro music! Edit: after having now seen the film I can add that it´s entrely stunning! One of the best I´ve seen on the subject, with a beautiful synthesis of aesthetics, philosophy/reflection and education. The way it manages to make simultaneously an intimate portrait of Anders, and an educational piece about agroforestry. I´m hyped at having found this awesome channel, this is the second film I watch so I have a few to look forward to :)

Beautiful filming, editing and a lovely story of another food forest brother. Thank you. I would like to suggest you look deeply into syntropic agroforestry if you have not yet. It facilitates, enhances and fast tracks these succession processes tremendously especially in abused soils. It originates from brasil by the Swiss farmer Ernst goetsch but works well in all climates.
