It’s always a better idea to befriend an animal. For 50 years I had cattle. I rarely carried a stick being among them. Cow calving? If she had trouble I could pull calf. Later the next day vaccinate, ear tag, Castrating males. The cow would stand, loudly screaming at me. But not attacking. She knew me. Anyone else? RIP. I miss those ugly things.n
