In these Stories we normally View humans like the other races view orcs in a Fantasy Novel. We (Humans) share the same characteristics and personalities as orcs. Humans are normally treated as the outsiders and barbarians. Humans tend to be underestimated as well in these stories. Unlike Humanity Feck Yea , these don't always put a positive spin on humans\humanity sometimes looking at the darker side of human and humanity from the perspective of aliens.

Wojtek was an actual bear adopted by the Polish 2nd Corps during WW2, given the rank of corporal. He would carry ammo, drink and smoke with his fellow soldiers.

@@alganhar1 One left that they know of. We've always has zealots, and idealists, and misfits that have gone out into whatever wilderness they can find to start their own colonies. Many of the colony ships had no flight plan, disappeared from known space, and haven't been rediscovered yet.

During my first tour in South Korea we had a company dog, he had his own rack, wall locker and even a kimchi cabinet. He would ride in the front passenger seat of the First Sergeants Jeep or on the top of the Company Commander’s tank. He had a harness and one of the Battalion’s mechanics welded a tie down point to snap his leash too. He ate better than a huge majority of South Koreans. The KATUSAs would complain when he showed up at the battalion chow hall and get as many servings of meat as he was wanted. He actually was fed more meat and variety than we did. We could only have one meat item and that included ham on your omelette. First Sergeant took him to Fort Bliss when he PCS’d.
