It's a Gacha Game. And at this point, we've all realized that the Gacha part is the artifacts. And honestly, I can be ok with that. Yes, artifact farming is constantly feeling like a gut punch, makes me sick to my stomach and is such a huge disappointment (especially when upgrading sub stats). It sucks that a video game will so regularly make people feel physically ill like that. BUT, it is a Gacha game. Anyway, back to why, I can be ok with that: The artifacts are really the only pain in the ass thing in the game. The game itself is easy (floors 11&12 require a bit of team building and using a lot of resources...but still...not impossibly raging difficult. But that's it. Floors 11&12 are the ONLY thing that poses a bit of a challenge). Resources are very easy to come by in the game...... yeah, it requires some patience, but you're guaranteed the resources you need when you go to get them. Getting the characters you want (the part that everyone ASSUMED would be the Gacha part (but is NOT)), is relatively easy. Sure, you might miss out on some..... but if there's a character you REALLY WANT, you can get them pretty easily...... which is the MAIN reason I can be ok with how the artifacts are. I'd rather the artifacts be Gacha, than the characters. I'd rather play with the characters I like, and have crappy artifacts...... RATHER THAN play with characters I hate, who have perfect artifacts. The latter, would probably make me stop playing the game...since it wouldn't be fun, playing with characters, whose play styles I hate. It would basically mean, that I don't like the gameplay of the game..... and gameplay is the most important thing in video games. Back to the part where the game is easy. You don't NEED perfect artifacts. Yes, I'm a gamer and I do FEEL the NEED for the perfect builds..... but at the end of the day (after getting shit artifacts), I can be ok with no having perfect builds.....because i don't need them to really enjoy the game. So just remember, when farming artifacts..... it's a Gacha Game.

@@agroV i think what matters the most is to make a good analysis of what you need, because there is probably a account that will need something like 10 different good noblesse pieces. It would not be a bad idea to farm it then, but if you don't need then too much, just use the box. I never farmed wanderers troupe. Only gladiator back when i got to ar 50, for my razor. Wanderers came in throug the boxes. i am currently farming blizzard stayer for my dps chongyun. Will use ayato and shenhe with him

Pale flame was where i spent my ar45 resin as well but I got absolutely nothing for all of that resin spent. Did not get a single 2 crit substat piece. People still put WAY too much value in artifact farming. Problem is there are 3 levels to artifact farming and everyone tries jumping straight to the min-max tier. There is a small loss, but leveling a an artifact you're using to +20 is not a waste as long as it fits the tier of artifact farming you're at since you can dump it into enhancing the next artifact when you find it. So as a tip to people who aren't hardcore min-maxers, do not concentrate solely on artifacts for a character. Character Level, Weapon Level, BASIC artifacts, Character Talents and then team composition should all be prioritized. BASIC Basic artifacts should just be finding whatever primary stat of an artifact you need. 2x set bonuses are useful, and 4x set bonuses are great if you get them at this point, but focus first on getting the main stat you need on each artifact. Getting sub stats on these are a BONUS and not the focus. This should be done across a team comp first as well as leveling the character's own level, weapon, and talents. INTERMEDIATE After that you have intermediate artifacts which will be the main stats you need from the sets you need. Getting 1-3 desirable sub stats is plenty at this stage and will help boost your character's performance without going to that next stage. This should be focused on after building a team composition and running through the character and basic artifacts priorities first for them. ADVANCED (MIN-MAX) Advanced artifacts (or min-maxing) will be where you finally are looking for those artifacts with the preferred main stat and 3-4 of those sub stats supporting the character depending on their stat needs. This shouldn't ever be done if there are other characters that you are in the process of building or if there are other resin required materials you are farming. This is the final stage of resin usage and saving resin through condensing it is far more effective if still trying to build characters.

the problem comes, when you don't make team based on efficency, but based on taste.. i try to do both , but for example, no matter how good is xinqiu or is venti, i'll NEVER use them, i dont have venti but my xinqiu is lvl 20 , keep in mind im rank 58, i will never use characters i don't like, even if they can make me max star abyss.. I have all my main char talents to 9 , and gave them the best weap lvl 90 i could, they are all lvl 90. In general they perform well. But that's the limit, if you don't get good artifacts, you're not even going to do HALF the damage you could. and that limit character growth way too much.

It was time to farm so i went to emblem domaint just like youm after getting down to 20 fragile i stopped and cried. Got only 2 good pieces from whole runs, and only 2 crit rate circlets. It became much easier after I learned I had to start upgrading stuff to become stronger. My tip: focus on 1 team, build 2 different main DPS so you can swap them out in certain domains/vs certain enemies, and level up your gear. Character level will only get you so far

Reminds me of when I hit AR45. I spent almost all of my ~50 fragiles (could have had more if I didn’t waste them early on) on the Emblem/Shimenawa domain. Thankfully, one of my AR55 cousins was willing to spend the next ~3hrs helping me clear the same domain over and over again. I was able to get some decent artifacts and equip my team with serviceable pieces (copium of course). I’ve been tinkering with my main DPS’s artifacts as I go, but my supports have for the most part kept the same artifacts ever since. Everyone runs Shimenawa and/or Emblem since that’s all I have xD

About Substats, the issue were how already rigged to include those without that [%] But about the actual Artifact Piece & Set drop. The Weapon Banner's Epithomized Path mechanic but without building up 70-80 pities could be great for choosing which Artifact Set we can obtain while which of the 5 Artifact Pieces that can be equipped per character can be determined similar to how Domains of Forgery(Weapon Ascension) & Mastery (Talent Scriptions) does by a certain day from Mon-Fri while Sat & Sun include the Piece options from Mon - Fri. Then I believe only then rants about Artifact Domains would be satisfactory.

I thought I have good artifact luck before I started farming for a hat with main stat crit rate and sub stat crit dmg. I got about 10 hats already and none of them even have crit rate main stat😭

I used 60 condensed resin in one setting on the pale flame set and the best I got was 46% crit rate and 197% crit damage for my Eula on my alt account
