One gets torn between the other singers and Richard who has won the hearts and minds. However, vocally in real terms, Reid and the other singers have in fact better range and singing voices. Tough choices. In fairness, the contest is about vocals, a range of notes and stage personality ie being able to entertain! So the best of these characteristics deserves the win.
