*Fantastic machines. Totally changed the capability of Intermountain Healthcare’s LifeFlight service, because of it’s high-altitude capability, significantly greater power, and VFR/IFR capability, along with full color front-and rear-looking radar. SO MUCH safer than the old Bell Jet Rangers, and the power lets “Mom” ride with her baby when we flew them up to Salt Lake City, instead of having to drive and get there so much later…* *At the time, IHC bought four of them, one of which has a hoist, so they’re the only ‘civilian’ air ambulance in the USA with a hoist.*

Think for a minute, if the Govt were in charge they could cut the funds & penny pinch where as a charity they wont get funds cut as its not controlled by the Govt. Smart & better ran.

That same type air ambulance was a police helicopter here in south wales uk they got rid of it because the force couldn’t afford it

3.5ish mpg at 160mph 🤔 that’s better fuel economy than some super cars at similar speed (I won’t mention motor yachts 😬🤦🏻‍♂️)
