i have found that the M901A3 ITVs are excellent for supporting abrams pushes. if you have a few behind while you attack move your abrams blob or whatever, they can pick off T80s from max range safely behind the abrams.

The M901 ITV was always an incredible unit to have in the old cold war tactical combat games like Steel Panthers 2. Absolute snipers in defence against any vehicle rush. Thermal optics, huge zooms, missile was deadly, lots of ammo. It was the cold war M18.

Getting an helicopter and put it behind an hidden AA piece is my favourite way of dealing with the AI hatred for helicopters.

I think this campaign is the one I'm looking forward to playing the most, once I get my PC, the first thing I'm buying is WARNO, and I hope that by the time I'm through with the previous campaigns, I've learned more about how to play. I don't know what the learning curve is like for WANRO, I have played many other real time strategy games, one of my favourites is Sudden Strike 4. Has quite similar gameplay to WARNO and SD2. If you haven't played it yet Vulcan, you should definitely give it a try. But that game really helped me learn the basics about strategy games.

Something to note: on turn 1, AI has no heavy AA set up on the strategic map. You can use fixed-wing air support without fear on this turn only

Wow compared to some of the old campaign videos where battles were so one sided I would say the AI has improved massively. Much more combined arms tactics rather than just zergrushing lol 😂

I love watching your videos but I really know so little about WARNO; are all the tactical battle maps randomly generated? Or are is it a bunch of pre-made maps that are randomly picked? Or does each tile on the campaign map have its own tactical map?

There are a number of pre made maps that are picked based on the tile of the campaign map. I think they are pre assigned.

I wonder if you plan to replay the left hook and highway 66 as the pact soon if northag doesnt come out, as daunting as a reuquest that is. Maybe even try out airborne assault as the west germans. Im curious how you would deal with the paratroopers.

Goodstuff, really appreciate it! However, you seem to getting pretty careless, some of these losses are sickening. I know it's just a game, but I swear I almost punched a hole in my screen seeing some of it. From some of your previous campaigns, you know the Soviets still probably have some full strength tank units in the back line that you have encountered yet. And depleting your forces so much already, in what should be some relatively easy first battles, could hurt you later on when you wish you hadn't of wasted so much of their strength carelessly. You know you are better than some of this. But I know you got it, can't wait to see the rest!

@kingtiger5496 Honestly playing every battle perfectly is very tedious for me. I think this campaign will be much more of a balance between time and resources than the previous hense why I'm being more aggressive and reckless to speed things up.

​@@VulcanHDGamingI would be tempted to say you are playing the battles too perfectly even. It would be nice if you would give the AI a few units in some battles to put some salt as AI vs AI shenanigans are always unpredictable and can create some fun situations mid battle.
