@MillsyXD Some weapons have special versions of scopes, and the MARS sight for TAR-21 is one of them. The L86 also has a special ACOG sight and some of the grenade launchers have different names. The TAR-21 in real life uses the ITL MARS sight. It's basically the Red Dot Sight.

that big yellow container geoff went down by is really helpful. one person can hide in the other stands on the outside and the person inside can heal the person on the outside. he gets up shoots down up shoot down etc. very helpful on armor peircing

Good guide, I've tried this mission over and over last night on veteran with someone, we kept getting to the 2nd and last room, and he immediately shoots a hostage every freaking time

So almost a decade ago I achieved 68/69 stars with veteran wetwork the final obstacle in my road to completion for this game, I gave up and decided I couldn't do it. I go back to the parent's house for some time with the family and set up my old 360 for some throwback games. I see 1 star is all I need to finish everything I started in 2009 and I decide it must be done. I thought I know the team that will get me through this, and by god you guys did, I took it slow. I set my damn claymores and I bloody well did it. Modern Warfare 2 is 100% Campaign, 1100% Online and 100% Spec ops, thank you Jack & Geoff.

@mrworldserieschamps this is actually the hardest spec ops mission. it took me and my friend so long to do it on veteran but after we beat it i got the star 69 achievement so i was happy

I like this video, helped me out. Only problem I had with this spec ops (and ONLY this spec ops) is that it did a glitch on me and a friend of mine. Both time it happened one of us got downed near the end of the level, first time I helped my friend up (I thought) and he ran over to the edge and jumped off the oil rig. His point of view showed that I didn't even help him up. Second time was the opposite I died, but he was able to sort of keep playing.

You have no idea how fucking useful this was... I was terrified when I got to the ending breach because I had spent 15 minutes to get there and hit a civilian twice lol But this guide was a HUGE help. Thanks man! Keep on doin what you do!

This is my last Spec mission, and no matter how hard me and my friend try, it's SO hard. We usually get to the ending, but sometimes fuck up and die. The worst part, though, is that we fuck up at the last breach and clear room EVERY SINGLE TIME. I really hope we get it right, we both just studied this video to memorize our parts

Another useful tip is that if you have spare grenade launcher shots it will take the helicopter down with one however i highly recommend using the AT4 because there are tons of enemies and the grenade launcher is a better choice against ground forces than the AT4

I did all the echo spec ops on veteran by myself, they're easy wetwork is easier on your own because it's easier to breach at the end, the favela juggernaut one is easy because there is a sweet spot that you can stand in behind a car and the juggernauts glitch and stand still trying to shoot, and the last one with the barret is cake

i got to the 2nd breach room, cleared out all the bad guys, the slow mo was about to end when my partner shot a hostage, i was pissed but we beat it after awhile

You're right Geoff, these ops aren't all impossible. I beat this one and the last one by myself. However, I found High Explosive to be practically impossible when playing solo. I had to use two controllers, because like Ray I have no friends, and use that hack where one guy bleeds out in the doorway of the house to the left of the starting position, preventing the Juggs from entering the room, while I Thumpered the hell out of them. I tried doing it solo about a hundred times and I just couldn't do it. Once they start coming in pairs it becomes extremely difficult to get them before they completely rape you.

its the unique red dot sight for the TAR also the f2000 has a unique red dot for some unknown reason i dont find them any easier to use but there unique

wow, i had way too little trouble with this spec op, i did it first try on hardened and that last breach i just randomly shot in any order, i didnt even realize that there was barrels that could blow up, and i still one, wow...

Try blowing up the large gas tanks especially when the helicopter arrives and the men rappel in it helps :D

This mission was a nightmare for me and my friend, every time we go to the top and ready to breach for some reason it would say he was downed on my screen and when i picked him up he didnt have a gun :( But got it in the end :) good vid 5/5

run through this one there is a video i followed on you tube and when u get to the last breach the game registers that there is already to many enemies so there are no enemies practically the same tactics as the run through on snatch and grab but the timing has to be excellent

You don't even have to take the AT-4 in the begining because the chopper goes down in 1 shot with the grenade launcher.. But Jack to do this you have to save a grenade launcher and not waste all in the begining :D

ok. so don't use the at4. instead, hide behind some cover and as soon as the helicopter comes into sight hit it with a grenade launcher. then, blow up the big propane tanks with your grenade launcher. pick off anyone else and move up. kill a few of the guys in the windows at the smoke part, run up the left flank and breach the door on the right. easy. (do it solo, SO much easier.)
