Fujishima Kosuke-sensei, along with Sonoda Ken'ichi-sensei, Shiro Masamune-sensei, and Hirano Toshiki-sensei were so foundational to my manga and anime life from the mid-80s to the mid-90s. And they couldn't have picked 3 better seiyuu than Deedlit, Tendo Kasumi-oneechan and Mizuno Ami-chan. LOL

I wouldn't rate "better" or "worse". The TV series from 2005 is another adaptation that is more detailed and based on the manga. =X

I agree, the OVA was so good and so pretty. The atmosphere, everything was so faithful to the manga. The "new" anime gave the MCs some dumb and weird faces, same for some other characters (usually the ones who have big eyes) making them looking like they're retarded or something. And idk if those are fillers but the garbage episodes like the ones where the goddesses play a game in some weird bikinis were totally useless and spoiled the series. The songs are meh too. The movie isn't bad though.
