anyone know where/how I can get my hands on a legal physical or digital copy of this music?

A quick Google search gave me three results: #1: I saw one physical copy used for sale on fye.com, but it's the last one left. #2: There's another one on ebay that's in good condition. #3. A website called secondspin.com has one copy left of the OST. I can't confirm the reliability of the any of them, but in my opinion I would try & get it from fye (they're kind of like a Suncoast if you're not too sure about them). For digital copy, maybe iTunes? But I can't confirm that since I don't use iTunes at all. In short, that's what I came up with. Good luck to you in getting the album (Personally speaking I've lucked out twice in getting in album. Once when I was a teenager, my Mom bought the album for me at a Suncoast store [unfortunately a friend, whom I let borrow the album, lost it] & two years ago where I found it at an anime store in L.A (and a different friend bought it for me.]

Man i really love this stuff. The new ost sounds great as well but this one is just on a whole different level. It's almost classical but still sounds distinctly anime.

Most definitely. I had first bought this album after reading a little blurb about it in a anime magazine many years ago & immediately fell in love with it. It was really a step up from the other anime soundtracks that I had owned at the time.

still my favorite anime OST of all time, but lets be real, the composers were hamaguchi and uematsu, the ones that did the Final fantasy OSTs too, its like cheating.

Does anyone have the DVD for this movie and watched the bonus episode on it? It was like a comedy sketch “mini” version and it was so cute. It had an awesome song at the end of it. Does anyone know what that song is called and who it’s by?
