I'm glad that the little girl's spirit managed to get away from Deborah's evil father from keeping her prisoner. I am glad that she is now in a safe place from evil and her family is happy to see her crossing over to the other side.

I remember listening to that series with my daughters when they were young, and after that, they were scared to sleep alone in the basement, so I had to let them sleep upstairs in my bed, while I slept in the basement, and they always told me that if I was scared, I could sleep with them on the bedroom floor. Nice memories. I'm glad they made some episodes I never saw because it was entertaining.

The first story reminds me of another I've seen where the girl was a strong psychic and was making most of the happenings occur. This doesn't cover everything but trauma as a child of the mother, it's possible her fears are manefesting and the children, her main focus, were feeling it. It happened the most when her husband was gone

That's not what Purgatory is. Further, I can point you in the direction of multiple actual Catholic Priests that are Exorcists that will confirm that, for whatever reason, there are instances of Human Spirits lingering around, not moving on to where they are supposed to. A Catholic Exorcist has waaaay more knowledge about this stuff than you, no offense. The Bible is very vague and incomplete regarding the Praeternatural, and empirical evidence shows that. God can punish you for something you did when you were alive. Deborah's father was abusive to her and possibly her mother and he took that with him to the afterlife but then he transformed into an evil spirit to haunt and intimidate her and her family. If that was my own father wanting to cause harm to me then I'll be seeking help with Saint Michael so he can take care of him.
