The fact that there is a guild dedicated to beating the wolf unique boss means that had Sunraku defeated it would mean that this anime is going to the plot armor route. Its a good thing that Sunraku is defeated as that means he has alot of grinding to do.

This episode reminds me of re zero when Subaru gets cursed. The director also worked on handyman Saitou which had a great production. We saw the rabbit lord. Although I wonder how he entered despite not being level 80. Also I think the OP suggests the cute bunny can transform into a girl. The after credits shows how the girl who crushes on him, Psyger, became a gaming addict and I appreciate she’s also strong but with her one style. I predict she will find him after the first cour and for now he will find a few other teammates. We also got info that Psyger’s sister is also playing the game. I feel like the unique monster will need a small party at least to defeat Lycagon. The battles are still intense and have interesting fighting choreography

You can enter anywhere. The level indicator is just telling you what level you're meant to be. If you want to go though you can go. No areas are really level gated.

@@rajvirmalhans2073 Yep. The door said “rec. level” (recommended level) rather than “req. level” (required level) This just means that whatever this quest is, it’s gonna be hell for a character of Sunraku’s current level.

I guessed he wouldn’t be able to defeat it but I thought he would at least learn weakspots,but nope,he barely damaged it,Lycagon really does live up to his title. At least he learned some attack patterns and abilities it has,that will come in handy the next time he faces it,preferably with a group this time that will most likely be the girls in the Op

Lycagon is near impossible to damage using physical attacks. You need to damage it using magic skills that can penetrate ghosts or ethereal enemies because Lycagon is classified as that.

There was a lot about this episode that got me excited! First off, just the idea of Unique Monsters gave me flashbacks to playing Xenoblade Chronicles. I could hear You Will Know Our Names playing as the MC did the equivalent of trying to fight Territorial Rotbart. It makes me wonder if the author is a fan of that franchise. Furthermore, there being only seven Unique Monsters makes me think of them like Superbosses from those same game, so it wouldn't surprise me if those seven are not only hard to meet but also are beyond the level cap. I also really dig the mechanic of this Unique Monster. It's simple, but so damn effective and cool. Second, considering earlier on in the episode, I expected the girl to rush in at just the right moment and save him, but I was way happier with what happened. No plot armor, he just loses after putting up a hell of a fight. With how far he got, no doubt he'll get his W when he's much higher level and finally gets to run it back. Also, now we know how he got those scars. I can't wait to see how the effects affect his journey from here on. Third, I know it's another simple thing and an easy reference, but I like how the start of that unique event was an Alice in Wonderland reference. It's just neat. Saying that no one out of the 30M players had found that event yet is hard to believe, but if the game devs are being tight-lipped about the conditions and those conditions are both incredibly specific and easy to miss, then I can see it. It's improbable, but not impossible, so I can ride with it. Finally, holy shit Vysache, boss of the Rabitz, is cool as fuck! The introduction, the scene, the voice acting, the absolute presence of this man, and everything have got me hooked. This anime overall has been killing it thus far, and we're only three episodes in! I'm looking forward to seeing this meeting with Vysache, where it goes, and what fortune our MC's insane luck stat brings. Furthermore, I'm so glad this isn't going to be another 12-episode season and we're getting a full-course meal of 25 episodes. After this season finishes, I'll probably dive right into the manga.

With the rabbit event after the fight, the reason no player ever did it beforehand was because you can simply remove the curse at a priest. I like that bit because its realistic, why would you not remove a curse that stops you from wearing torso and leg pieces lol.

1. The game's plot definetly takes notes from Xenoblade Chronicles. They're all descendants from a space colony that crashed on the planet centuries ago. 2. Vysache=vicious. He's a vicious vorpal bunny. 3. And his VA has a long history of playing tough characters. Most noatbly, Batou from _Ghost In The Shell._

He is so screwed because of that curse. Monsters of smaller level flee, this means there is a limit to how much he can farm monsters before they flee from him. So now he can only farm creatures of higher level ... Which is insane.

Granted, there was a limit to how much he could get out of low level farming anyway. He basically farmed himself out of the first forest anyway and had to move on.

Yeah I watch the whole episode & said there is no way Devs will place a 1 of 1 monster that never respawns after defeat. People will complain bout how that unfair. And if this uniqur monster drops any item that's not a cosmetic, than it will be nerf or the whole community will complain. I feel Log Horizon is one of the only stories that was written by a gamer.
