Thanks to a few commenters, I stand corrected. I had a hunch that the vocals on this song was from the 90's, as I was livestreaming I was getting comments saying this was done during the Hot Space era & I wasn't aware of the facts, hence why I kept saying "it sounds so mid 90's" a lot lol. Apologies & enjoy guys!

His Voice It's like in 1989 Yes something like that listen carefully to the voice

Roger taylor said you can hear his voice thinning as he got older and sicker but he was still an absolute beast on the microphone, show must go a prime example! love the videos, look forward to the next one.

The vocals are from early 1991 after releasing the innuendo Album. The song Was released on made in heaven Album 1995. So you were right it sounds like the mid 90' s. It was one of freddies last recordings. Also great Songs by queen which give me special mood and feelings are " ride the wild wind" and " dont lose your head". I would like to hear your oppinion on that Songs....After your movement maybe if you like david😉

Freddie did the vocals in 1991, months before his death. It's from the last album, Made In Heaven (1995).
@adamjackson37702 жыл бұрын
This song was a creation of David Richards, who patched together some vocals Freddie had recorded before he died. The rest of the band added their instruments in 1994-95 for the Made in Heaven album. The opening harmonies were also taken from A Winter's tale!

Just wanted to shout out to all the amazing Queen fans on your channel I love reading the comments So on the money & so measured /respectful of others opinions/input Above all ? For one I love it when “genuine “ people like you…. go on the queen journey & appreciate what was our every day life back then Marc Bolan/Bowie/The Jam/ etc Didn’t fully appreciate what we had … Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦

You're spot on - it was indeed a mid-90s creation based on the rough vocals they had left from the sessions with Freddie around 1991. They worked on it after he died and released it in 95 I think.

Such a catchy song. That will be an ear worm for me now for the rest of the night. Yep! Another favourite to add to your ever growing list of favourites, like we all have. Sometimes a song hits a vibe and somehow this has a bit of a sad vibe to me....probably because of when and how it was created more than the song itself. Great reaction as always 💕💕💕

Not sure where you're getting the Hot Space idea, this is definitely not from that era. You Don't Fool Me is one of the last songs recorded by Freddie in May of '91 (together with Mother Love and A Winter's Tale).
@alittlethisalittlethat80502 жыл бұрын
Possibly from Wikipedia saying it is reminiscent of the Hot Space era? But yeah definitely from the 90's.
@kingofleos2 жыл бұрын
Correct. You can hear it in Freddie’s voice too. Sounds just like ‘A Winters Tale’ (his voice).
@JackThatBack2 жыл бұрын
I thought that too! During the livestream though, I had comments saying that this was apparently from the Hot Space era, would really caught me off guard. I had a feeling just by the sound along that it sounded more 90's era Freddie but I just went by the comments that were coming through at the time.

Hey David. Alaine your Alien Australian friend here. Been searching for this killer version of……Queen - Live at Hammersmith | We Will Rock You (Fast) (December 26th, 1979)…..It is quintessential platinum Freddie at the height of his power. This one isn’t bad either…… Queen - The Hero/We Will Rock You (fast version) Live at the Bowl 1982……..Love to see your reaction to these 2 live classics.

As usual in the 90s, the song was released as an official Maxi CDs which came with several remixes. The one you just heard was the "Album Version"...!? If you like this song, check out the "Dancing Divaz Club Mix", the "Late Mix", "B.S. Project Remix" or "Sexy Club Mix" ;-) All are great of course, but different!

As others have said, the vocals are post-Innuendo, 1991. There really wasn't much of a song at all until Dave Richards put some random pieces together. Much of what you hear is little more than studio ad-libs and is quite possibly made up of several unfinished songs. The giveaway is Freddie's voice. Because of his illness, his voice thinned a bit. You can hear that in every Innuendo and post-Innuendo track. There are actually other unreleased tracks from the Innuendo sessions that were more complete and would have made for a better inclusion on Made In Heaven - see Robbery, Self Made Man, My Secret Fantasy...
