If you can read in the book of 2 Samuel 6, King David was moving the Arch of the Covenant and he was rejoicing and dancing,in verse 14 it says that he was wearing just a linen cloth around his waist(GNB). You think he went to fetch he Arch dressed like that? I don't think so!! And if we look in the book of 1 Sam 16 vs 7 God says there Himself that He does not judge the outer appearance of men but He looks at the heart(GNB). Again I ask, where am I lying?

it's funny enough how quicki people are to spot mistakes and ao called inapropriate dress codes. What happened to God saying "come to me as you are". Sis. don't get me wrong. I've purchased most of their albums because I can worship to them (well those with lyrics that I can pronounce hahah). I love their approach; it's a level of excellence that I can admire. It's just that in my opinion, it is a distraction. Modesty is the name of the game. Their message is great but the way it's packaged can be a distraction. Thanks for being so kind even though we disagree a bit. I'd like to hear what you think about what I just said. :-)

We shouldn't agree about everything my friend, disagreement is good as long as it gets productive. No ones knows everything about God, he is a beautiful mystery but only our inner person guides and leads us to the right direction. I agree with your last comment though I still think distraction is in the mind of an individual. when vividly captured and confined by the beautiful Godly spirit, you get saved from distraction of sight. Oh man, sorry about that mixup :-). I agree about folks disagreeing on certain topics. It promotes productivity. There is however a huge difference in being disagreeable which is totally counterproductive. When it comes to ministry, especially music/worship ministry, I really just try to be blameless. The goal is always to point others to the God we sing about, and we shouldn't allow anything or anyone get in the way of that, whether it's the sound, vowels, harmonies, etc. What we wear can be included in that category as well. Certain things can't be helped. The lead singer above is attractive; covering her face would be absurd. However, if covering up helps a struggling brother that struggles with anything sexual, then God be praised. If it causes him to fall, then may God have mercy. Bless you man!!

The same people who wear long dresses and who covers their heads are extremely spiritual in church but demons at home. I'm just saying. It's easy to pretend in front of people. I just think its more decent to fully cover your body when in public worship unless you are performing to audience. When we are in the house of God with different people its better not to dress in a way that will not make others fall. if there is a rapist or adulterer who is in the process of salvation they will de disturbed by women who come to church half dressed. its not so much about you going to heaven but how it affect others around you
