My Heart goes out for this man. He is so generous and kind and vastly knowledgeable. I am not familiar with the Shakspeare' s work, so I didn't understand the lingo of it and this video, but I can listen to this man all day. With every word, he shares a story, and his hard work reflects from his words. He never says that he is very talented always give credit to his teachers and his fellow mates. Always emphasized his education's importance, which I believe is the key to success in general as well. I wish I would have known him somehow, he seems like someone I can share my issues, and he will hear me out wholeheartedly and give me good advice. God Bless you, Tom Hiddleston. You are one of a kind, I so glad you exist. 🙏

Some people might think if you live in England you speak old English (thou instead of you for instance)but their is no one ,some people (very few)might use thou or thee but nothing else, so Tom is correct ,he doesn't speak it for a large amount of his life,so it's still acting, rehearsing like anyone from any country, he just likes mimicry ,good at accents ,I was born in England lived here my whole life, still can't fully understand Shakespeare,Chaucer is interesting but read Shakespeare first, sad that accents are dying out , he had a very privileged education ,I sort of did but no acting,it does make speaking Shakespeare easier.

I loved listening to Tom talk about 'being truthful in imaginary circumstances' it makes total sense. As a writer, this is what I attempt to do as I create a story with people who are in my imagination and I write as truthful as I can. I imagine that this understanding happens in any mode of creativity such as performers/singers, poets, painters. The process has to appear to be real, truthful. A slice of life. Tom is so great, self effacing and his sense of humor is wonderful. What a lovely human being he is. I wish I could see him in 'Betrayal' -- I'm in California so I don't see my being able to see the play.

The first time I saw the episode I was confused why he was that upset over her, then saw an interview with Tom where he talked about Jonathan being in love with Sophie. I've watched the series many times now and I still think they should have filmed more scenes with them to ensure that the audience believed that they were in love.

@Sarah Khader What are you talking about? Obviously his parents worked hard enough to put him through his education. Any person with any skin color and gender is capable of putting their child through excellent education if the parent is willing to do the hard work and be smart and wise with life choices. You will reap what you sow. You could also succeed and put your child through the best education and your child could be lazy and ruin the legacy. But obviously Tom was responsible and did the right thing, made good choices and put in the effort. You think his skin color got him to where he is? Ridiculous! If that was the case, all white people would be rich, successful and popular. Your statement is unacceptable.

@@Sarah-if4dm you know, his father is from a very poor family in Scotland. He worked so hard to make his life better. He became a scientist and gradually become the head of the company or you can say the managing director. He worked so hard all his life so he can afford the best education for his kids. Of course Tom's mother is from a relatively well settled family but she was a single mother taking care of three children it's not that easy then it sounds. In no way I am mocking you, you may have seen some people who may have had the liberty to be privileged but it's not their fault it's just the situation that they are into. I know sometimes it feels unfair but it's okay don't loose hope stay positive focus on the right things and work hards so in future your kids wouldn't feel the same as you. keep calm and love Tom Hiddleston 😆

I know nothing about acting. I don't particularly want to be an actor. But this talk was ridiculously compelling regardless, and it seems a lot of people in the comments feel this way too. The impression I get is of someone who tries to consider deeply and learn from every facet of his life, someone who strives to face every moment with courage and empathy and a commitment to authenticity. This kind of considered life is getting rarer and rarer. It's quite frankly scary to live like that, it demands a lot of you; but you and the people around you are all the better for it. I think that cultivating such an attitude in your life has the side effect of making you magnetic in a way. It gives you that contagious spark that frees others to mirror your vulnerability. I don't know if that kind of attitude can be taught, exactly, but he should consider giving it a red-hot go, because society will only be better off for it; write a book, do a TED talk. Run a masterclass; acting, speaking, Shakespeare - anything. It doesn't matter what, because teaching imparts a philosophy, a wisdom, not just facts. People like this, the best of us - we need teachers like this. Thank you for posting this video.

Before I knew Tom Hiddleston was playing Loki, I was so marveled (pun intended XD)at his performance at Tom's character and how excellent he is on point with this character that we all got to understand and love, then it came to my mind that I wanted to know who played as Loki and learn more about Tom..but once I heard the name "Tom Hiddleston" my eyes were wide open XD so from then on I researched and learned more about Tom's personality then I realized that his Personality is so relatable to mine.. due to the fact that we both love doing impressions (which I do all the time) and we both play music, both kind and caring, I could keep going all day X3 I'm not British, I'm an American girl who looks like him but feminine 😂 and I'm not the same age as him unfortunately but he as inspired me so much that it made me cry because when he went to ace comic con in Chicago when he said "we all have moments of doubt but if we just hold each other through the uncertainty we'll get through it together" I cried full of joy when I watched that video.. because it gave me so much motivation to move past my depression of my condition of Scoliosis and I'm so great full that this wonderful man was brought to this world from God..💙 i haven't met him yet but hopefully soon I can..but may God bless this beautiful man..
