perfect , but one thing you can change to make it easier . No need to unscrew the 4 screws on each side , just unscrew the small screw on each distance-piece , loose it on the side and just slip it out.

Thanks for the info, I will have to check it out :)

YOU WILL CAUSE DAMAGE NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY IF YOU REMOVE THE 4 SCREWS ON THE ADJUSTMENT BLOCKS. The correct way to remove the earpieces is by removing the single nylon screw on top of the adjustment rods and then pulling them free of the blocks.

@@neilcohen6608Damage? Your comment isn’t helpful at all tbh. If you are going to step in like you did being a little more specific would make you seem like less of a troll

@@MultiFreddy34 I wrote 2 years ago - do you think I even know (or care) what you’re talking about? Anyway, I am not a troll and whatever I wrote I had a good reason for it. Now I recall, those were the exact instructions given me by Audeze and posted on their website. And, the OP thanked me and saved himself a potentially costly repair. You should, of course, ignore all warnings and destroy your headband if you prefer that to taking the word of someone with infinitely more knowledge and experience than you. Or, you could try to improve as a human being, reset your ‘thinking’, and apologize. Midwits. 🙄

Methylated spirits on a rag might be best for removing the leftover adhesive after scraping, it is a liquid but also evaporates quite quickly, just a suggestion :).

Thanks! I have thought about that, but if I show it and anyone does it and damages their cans, they will blame me. So I avoided it :)

I just used my finger to keep rolling that adhesive.

Trying to find vegan replacements is not easy at all. Audeze new style (since 2020) is terrible. I have tried other dekoni leather=muddy low end/reduced soundstage. I also tried the non-leather and Fenestrated leather. Both were better but they still take away a tiny bit of clarity (I think the gaze in the middle is too thick) and the soundstage is still not right. I put that down to the filling used being too thick. Has anyone tried these vs the Dekoni pads?
