How deep is the water where you were trolling

@keepitreal5148 25 to 30 feet deep. Wrinkle cove was my last 3 trips. They were stacked there. And they were biting really good. But every day is different. Best is to use your fish finder to find them. Them striper move around a lot. Good luck out there.

@ahhdat that's awesome bro thanks I just subscribed to your channel. I haven't been to Hogan Lake. I usually troll for striped bass in the delta Antioch Ca Big Break at the Dutch slough. I use a Carolina rig with 4ft leader 6/0 hooks with live bait

Awesome video..... What kind of streamers are you using ? And are you using a weighted head on them ?

@martyduarte9105 Thanks. The streamer/fly I use is weightless. To get the flies down deep, I use " leadcore" line. Each color of leadcore line will get your fly down 5 feet if you're going 2.5mph. Most of the fish I caught were at 25 feet. So I let out 5 colors. Hope that help.

@johnathanjimenezrealestate118 are you using leadcore line? Any flies should work. Gotta go about 2.5mph. Make sure you mark fish on your fish finder before stripping. Each color of leadcore line will go down 5 feet, going 2.5mph. If you mark fish at 20 feet, let out 4 colors and start stripping. They guy that sold flies to me, he disappeared from social media. So I don't know where you can get his flies anywhere. Hope that help.

@@ahhdat yeah we used lead core found a couple boils too but couldn’t get to them on time. Hoping to go out next week and have some better luck we were trolling at 2mph hope the 2.5 makes a difference
