Ahmad wrote this song for me after I was born. He was a friend of my pops back when they lived in NYC in the late 60s/early 70s, when pops was taking pics for a lot of big jazz musicians. Glad I gotta chance to speak with Ahmad again last year after a few decades. He answered the phone saying "Pablo Sierra!!!!!". We laughed for like 5 minutes and just caught up on life, and I thanked him for being such a huge musical influence in my life. Truly an amazing artist and human being. May he rest in eternal peace.
