I like how you clearly drew a distinction for who should be buying this card. Many times youtubers do reviews without considering people's individual needs, which makes it really hard to follow for those who are new to the PC market

I love how in-depth you were about the card and I love the advice you provided. I also love how you compare other cards to the 3050. Great review, I'm glad you didn't just trash it the whole review. I would like to get the card, but sadly the GPU market is so bad right now :(

what i actually loved about this review is that not only did you give an honest review of the 3050 but you somewhat compared to the release of the amd 6500xt as well as showing graphs all throughout the video in order to give us visuals.

Thanks for this review! I was going to hold off on the 3050 since I currently have a TUF Gaming GeForce GTX 1660 OC which runs pretty goodd. But because you stated if you want to run DLSS enabled games and get the performance boost from them, that means I can run God of War in DLSS mode which would be sweet. Good luck to all and congrats to whomever wins it!

Thanks RT, I am glad you provided some comparison to other GPUs. I built a new pc last spring and was disappointed in not being able to snagged a RTX 3060 Ti but did manage to get a ROG Strix 2060 OC. I thought about trying to purchase the RTX 3050 but based on this video, I will continue to hold out for a RTX 3060 Ti or higher.

I love how this review was done. It breaks things down so it's much easier to understand the comparison between cards and it manages your expectations. I especially liked how Ahmad talked about the different scenarios where you would be looking to buy or upgrade and his recommendation in these specific scenarios. Well done and will be looking at reviews from this source more often now.

I enjoy Ahmad 's reviews because they largely focus on the performance while lightly touching on the downsides and general doom-and-gloom in the hardware space. Letting viewers know that a build with the card is coming out is also something to look forward to!

Ahmad kept it short, sweet, and to the point👌🏼 I bought a 1660 super ventus from a friend of mine for real cheap and I was thinking about a 3050 but after this review I’d rather keep my 1660 and spend my money else where on other parts for now until I’m finished building my pc I’m working on. Thanks for the review Ahmad 🙏🏼

I do appreciate the breakdown explicitly of when down the line of upgrades the 3050 stops having a real return over the older cards. That said, going on an old used GTX 980, ha- I'm not even on the map anymore apparently.

I liked how you just did not throw charts and graphs at first and just talk about the situation in general. And yes it's my 3rd rtx 3050 video in a row and I'm going to watch more like everyone lol. BTW I'm looking forward to the $800 pc build, that Phantakes case and argb fans looks really cool and I just might upgrade my case and fans to this if those performs better, I won't be able to upgrade my gt710 any time soon so might upgrade the airflow in the case.

Great review as always. Love how you don’t over hype or trash a product. “Almost” every product has a certain niche of people it was made for and works well for. I was thinking of build with my son his first PC. He doesn’t need anything crazy and I had even thought about Ryzen 5700g with integrated graphics…But this may be a good fit for the price especially with DLSS! Keep the reviews, vlogs, and behind the scenes coming! Love it!

Informative video as always, I think the ending comparison with 16 series and RX500 series is best. I think the real audience for the 3050 is the people rocking 9/10 series Nvidia cards and RX 400 series. (Assuming Steam survey about the 1060 is true)

Your review of this card is a lot better than others I've seen- A lot shorter too! I'm not super-enthusiast, so this review was easier to understand for me. Since I don't play a lot of very-demanding games, the 3050 seems right up my alley. Was looking forward to upgrading this generation from a 1050 Ti to exactly what the RTX 3050 has turned out to be. I'm guessing it isn't exactly the greatest price to performance in better worldwide conditions, but the performance jump and especially 8GB of VRAM would help a ton in what I'm doing on my PC outside of gaming.

This review seems to be quite useful, especially for individuals who are planning to upgrade their video card or build a new pc. The objective with the RTX 3050 is to match the performance of the RTX 2060, which is still a decent choice for 1080p to 1440p gaming and can boost DLSS to significantly improve performance, often compensating for the extra strain caused by ray tracing. It will be a game changer if the RTX 3050 can bring those features to a reasonable price point without compromising on performance.

Cool new way for a review, haven't seen it from anyone else😋. RTX 3050 is a much better deal than 6500xt, but I must say if you can find a RTX 3060 go for it (doubles the performance in some titles).

Good layout for the review, it’s too bad the the performance is so much lower then the 2060. I currently have a 2060 ko and planned on building a 9900k setup with it right before everything jumped in price and availability dropped. So dropped it in my current i7-4790 prebuilt. Even if there is stock on the 3050, I’m still better off using my 2060.
@Mehmet-di6ln2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for breaking down in which scenarios this card could make sense and in which ones it absolutely doesn't. When I saw the benchmark releases and it showed that it was being outperformed by a 2060.... It was disappointing. I'm currently in the que for evga's step up from the 2060 I was able to snag at the end of last year to a 3060 Ti..... And the price difference that will be due at the time of that step up is something like $155..... So an extra $100 would really be awesome to cover my step up cost and finally get me to a card that is somewhat reasonable for the games I play on the monitors that I have (of course, I still and will always want a 3080 FE but i'm at the point that I'll take what I can get and work my way up). A lot of waiting patience and steps but I finally feel like i'm making progress to getting a card that I actually want..... But as usual, great job breaking everything down in an easy to understand practical manner for different people's situations and use cases. Very well thought out video, easy to understand visuals, short sweet and to the point.

Sorry if I sound condescending. The thing I like about benchmark is that (calling out certain tips channel) just because something hurts your feelings doesn’t mean it’ll hurt my feelings. Some people complain about rtx not being good enough yet these same people have a gpu that can run rtx flawless and still say they wouldn’t use it because it doesn’t make a difference in gaming. If I were to pitch in I’d say we need more benchmarks showing what the gpu is capable of and not what “my high ego “ wants them to be capable of. Birthday is this weekend I could use that $100 😂

@Ahmad the rest of the video was good, I’m more of a visual guy though so the graphs made the most sense. I’ve been looking to build my own pc for a while now and researched a lot about it already. Currently I have a 1050ti so the 3050 would really help me out in terms of running newer games, but my mobo is quite old so I’m going to start new when I start building. A 3080 would be my dream card but since prices are jacked, like you said with multiple gpu price jokes in the video lol, idk if I’ll spend that much yet so a 3050 is a possible buy for now. Haven’t seen a popular KZbinr reply to so many comments lol keep it up
