In this last episode of Ahmedabad Food Tour, Piyush and I went on a full on street food tour in the walled city trying the authentic Gujrati breakfast at Chandravilas, moving on to the lane of sweet makers and ending with gujarati snacks- khaman and Panki.
The food journey in Ahmedabad ended with a huge Vegetarian Gujarati thali at Vishala.

Thank you for showing Chandravillas. One of the oldest restaurants in ahmedabad started by my great grandfather. The restaurant got disrupted after 2002 riots and lost it major chunk and even there was a lodge which got totally vanished. Someone was complaining regarding the taste I agree that there's a change in taste as you lost the staff who was expert in making delicacy and it's tough time to find there replacement. But still We are our trying best. Well, indeed chandravillas is a legacy left behind by our forefathers we will try our best to keep that legacy alive.

At Chandra Vilas in old days it was very crowded, people like my uncle use to visit this hotel with his college friends, they order something then waiter would issue a bill , then they shift to another table order furthermore and get another bill, they use to pay one of the bill and off to their college 😂
