@@kamixakadio2441 unfortunately yes 😞 fatal recently joined as a full time member on this podcast-style show I watch on KZbin called “Plotting & Scheming.” It’s ran by Tassinex, great channel and great show, definitely recommend checking out Tassinex. But yeah, the more I hear from fatal in that show the less I liked him lol which is really a bummer, I used to love fatal. It’s weird because I feel like he used to always be the one trying to find these weird/cool interactions that weren’t intended by CG. That was like his whole thing lol finding super whacky counters and stuff. But he’s always talking about how he’s reporting these cool interactions to CG now.. definitely super lame. Giving Scrooge vibes fs 😂 it’s like he’s taken it upon himself to police the meta and make sure everything fits his definition of “balanced”

Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Omega The Cooldown Reducer? I thought not. It’s not a story CG would tell you. It’s a holotable legend. Darth Omega was a Dark Lord of the holotables, so powerful and so wise she could use her abilities to influence the cooldowns to create instakills… She had such a knowledge of the cooldowns that she could even keep Darth Nihilus instakilling over and over again. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities CG consider to be unnatural. She became so powerful… the only thing she was afraid of was losing her power, which eventually, of course, she did. Unfortunately, someone told CG everything he knew, then CG started looking into the interaction. Ironic. She could save others from death, but not herself.

CATs insta kill can also be revived, so less effective against Jabba teams etc. Plus putting omega in a JMK team with her would reduce JMKs viability for little gain And CAT is a conquest unit. A marquee with a permanent insta kill that can be spammed is crazy. Mando at least needs a contract fulfilled.

One of 3 things needs to happen: CG needs to be okay with this kind of interaction because all future characters can be manipulates by her, so I doubt it. She needs to be made part of a bad batch team that is just undeniably godlike in the end game stages so that way she is only used there but can still have fun interactions when wanted. 3. She or Nihlus gets nerfed and all future instakills get nerfed to some degree similar to how CAT can only do it once.

I’m seeing people get mad at CG even though Omega (Fugitive) doesn’t really do much. Her cheese, while nice, is either walled behind Relics for lower GP players, not needed for higher GP players, and only really useable for midgame players. Even then they have to pull apart several teams just to make the cheese team, so in the end this will affect very few people

What makes me mad is I took this as a “hey you’ve spent about $300 for this new toon, but we noticed an issue so let’s fix it” while also having the issue of a GL that people spent a lot to get and have the team not work properly and just not talk about it like there are any issues. I was very tempted to get Omega after seeing the good old days of mixed squads returning on your stream, but the investigation has put me off. Old characters and not a movie/series, but it would be cool if we had an inferno squad, iden versio, Hask, Del and throw some other characters from Battlefront II campaign into the squad. They don't test anything because that would cost time and money. They rely on players to do it for free. If a "bug" will benefit us in PVE, they'll fix it as top priority. If it hits us negatively, especially in PVP, they'll "look into it" when they decide to. (This interaction can be used in PVE, so they don't want that.) CG leadership has zero respect for players and that's the biggest problem. Whoever is in charge isn't concerned about players, our concerns, bugs that hit us negatively, only in revenue. It's been like this for well over a year now and after making 2 Billion in revenue, they're at the "shut up and spend money!" point.
