@xenibear My thinking is that Earl and Sam are both high school seniors at the time, since they both left at the end of season one. But, that's just my guess. The security guard job would be a bit hard to swallow, but it's possible for an eighteen year old to be a manager of some form.

@MeBenHalpin No, I definitely thought Mary Beth looked her age...I mean in real life, she was 15 when the show started, so it made sense that way. At least it wasn't as bad as Beverly Hills 90210 where they had 30 year olds playing high school kids!
