ChatGPT for SEO: Best (and Worst) Use Cases

I did an interesting experiment with ChatGPT recently. I provided it with 60 content titles from our content plan and asked it to categorise them based on funnel position. It did that (somewhat accurately) without a problem. I then asked it to produce a table that organises the content based on which stakeholder (4 different ones in total) the content would be best suited to. I realise all of that should be sorted out beforehand, instead of relying on an AI to give me the answers. But it did it remarkably well! Interesting use cases in this video! But I agree too, asking it to come up with keywords produces terrible results.

Happy to see discussion regarding ChatGPT in SEO and it's actual benefits. To add my own two cents, I have noticed that "re-writing" existing content can be hugely beneficial for informational content on websites. It can create more unique phrases and help someone rank for other search terms.

YES!! I use GPT for titles because I seriously stink at them. I also use it for coding and blog outlines! The only thing is, don't ask it if there's anything the outline is missing to make it more complete. It will ALWAYS find something, and my blogs are dense enough.😂

It's not only about regex, as a SEO im using it for xpath rules for Screaming Frog Spider. It's great about code refactoring Also I like it when it comes to Google Analitycs and how some specific "metrics" works or how i can get specific data from it. I just ask and it answer me quite well with examples.

Using your same template video on how to write blogs, we told Chat to create an article following that same structure,plagiarism check passed. Rewrite to sound more casual at an 8th grade level, added some visuals and fact checks came out good. Bings version of chat is connected to the web. This is what I think is going on. You’re team Google. And the ship is sinking. Instead of bashing the programs negative features, quickly go to the war room and create a tool for the new wave of information consumption. Neil Patel is on the same boat. When the internet first came out, strangely there were people who didn’t believe in it and instead waved the fax machine flag. The new wave is prompts.

Question about featured snippets in general. Should this content be put in the introduction to briefly answer the question fast and clean. Or does google pick it from anywhere on the page, so you can answer the question further down and google picks it from there? Is there any information that it is beneficial to put the "featured snippet content" in the introduction paragraph?

Technically, it's preferable to put that featured snippet at the beginning of the article, and bold it. Google will know that's the answer to the question and will use it as a featured snippet if it's a good answer

Chat gpt is great for tables, I made a few tables with lots of data in just a few seconds. Normally gathering the information and formatting into a table would take 20 minutes or so.
