Absolutely love everything about that area of Wisconsin. Small town experience, great little restaurants, beautiful geography year round, and so much history in Baraboo. Thanks for sharing

I grew up in Sparta. I live in NE Nevada now. Can't wait to fly home and all around the Driftless Area. Reedsberg is wonderful. Beautiful lumber baron mansions. When in Baraboo, see an event at or take a tour of the Al Ringling Theatre. A spectacular artifact of architectural and artistic history!

I do really like when the two of you bring us along for the ride. This video made me hungry........ What part of Texas are you going visit? We have a house in Killeen that we have had since May. We aren't there yet though. Still up in Elko, Nevada packing and getting ready for another trip. Two down, probably six more to go. And I have a 40' enclosed goose-neck to do it with! LOL Moving 1,600 miles with a lifetime of possessions is not fun. We have sold a ton of stuff already. Cars, boats, trailers, tools, furniture, and we still have, at least, that many trips left. I will be so glad when it is all done. Then I can get down to the business of finding a airplane to tinker with. I'm still heavily leaning towards a Bushcat. I would love a fast RV-8. But I think a all metel airplane would give me anxiety down there. I think a Cat would fair significantly better where it to be caught outside during a hail storm. Those are quite frequent down there. I've been considering a few all fiberglass alternatives as well.

Yes a hailstorm would not affect a BushCat. Ice balls would just bounce off. The trampoline factor is 8.2. Our son lives in San Marcos. We visited him down there a while back. Good luck in finding a plane. Thanks for watching.

Hi Tom, Keep on sharing your great videos! Nice to see people enjoying benefits of "Light Sport" aviation. If it would be possible, I'd like to figure out a way to chat with you about your experiences with the CTLS and the Bushcat...pros and cons, likes and dislikes, etc. Also, to discuss nuances of the Rotax 912ULS engines. If you're willing and interested, please get back to me about the best way we could communicate with each other (would rather not do it through the Comments section). Thanks, Dave M

I don’t know if I’d swing the husky. That bush cat seems really fun to fly. I like side by side over tandem

I was wondering if you got a private pilot license ? And if you are still have a Sport Pilot license ? And if so, do you find it to be a inconvenience in not being able to fly at night ? I am 63 and want to get a Sport Pilot license and build a Zenith 750 STOL light sport. In a nut shell does that Pilot License fit all you needs ?. Hope you ca answer, thanks for the video's.
@bushcattom9 ай бұрын
Hello Brian, absolutely the Sport Pilot Certificate meets all my needs. It’s not an inconvenience for me to plan to land before sundown. Most of the private pilots I know rarely fly at night. The greater risk I don’t think is worth the rewards. Sure night flights are nice but an engine out in the dark is usually fatal. That said there is hope for a night flying endorsement option to accompany the upcoming MOSAIC. We’ll see. But for me Sport Pilot fits me like a glove. Thanks for chiming in and thanks for watching.
