I finished it! Somehow my videos are taking me longer than I had expected lately. Anyway, it is done and I am so happy with the result. I think this song fits these four so well. It captures the feeling of having survived without being truly happy.
It is a bit unbalanced when it comes to the individual relationships between them. Like there is little to nothing about Obi-Wan and Rex and also not a lot about Ahsoka and Obi-Wan. But it does reflect the actual amount of scenes we got between them so I am not mad about it. These four are, to me, the main characters of the show so I wanted to make a video just about them. As usual it features a lot of scenes between Anakin and Ahsoka but I just can’t help myself. I also features a lot of Ahsoka and Rex because their friendship is just wholesome. (To be honest there is just a lot of Ahsoka…but who is surprised? I mean I make it no secret that I am completely obsessed with her! So if you don’t like it you are on the wrong channel.) On that note, I have to say that there are not a lot of episodes were Ahsoka and Rex actually talk! I think there are like three whole seasons where they don’t say a word to each other!! Granted every conversation they do have is wholesome and amazing and beautiful, but still! My mind just filled in all the gaps in how their amazing friendship was built.
I honestly don’t know if I will make a video about just the two in the future but for now I don’t think so. I thought about making this video just about them but I think it was a good decision to include Anakin and Obi-Wan.
I put a lot of Rebels scenes in their because I found so many parallels that I just could not leave out. So sorry to all hardcore TCW fans and Rebels haters. I don’t like the animation either but the scenes with Ahsoka are just too good!!

Well, if Rex ever met Luke, which I assume he would have if they were both on Endor, then it's likely he would have told him, because I think if Rex met someone else with the Skywalker name, he'd probably make the connection.

For me it was how at the beginning of the video kenobi says “If we stick together we’ll be fine” and everything that happens when they split up such has Ashoka fighting Vader, Vader’s death, Kenobis death and the one time Rex didn’t agree with skywalker and stand by him

@@Lilylilie I can imagine in a future animated series we'll see Luke and Leia meet Ahsoka and Rex. They'll learn about how their father was before he tragically became Darth Vader. As it would explain on how Luke found more about the Jedi of the past by learning from Ahsoka. Any chances you can make a video a live action tribute for the Skywalker family from Anakin to Ben and Rey. I consider Rey a part of the family, not because she took on the name but because she and Ben share the same life force so they are one. She's as much a Skywalker as he is.

One of the scenes that hits me hard is in Clone Wars when Ahsoka and Barriss detonate a bomb and are trapped in the rubble. Luminara basically shrugs it off saying that the padawans are likely dead. Anakin refuses and says that he won't let Ahsoka die. I think of that scene and their Rebels confrontation and it hits differently. He goes from being willing to do anything to keep her alive to trying to kill her which, in my mind, solidifies that she couldn't save Anakin from Vader.

I do totally agree with you on that. She was not able to bring Anakin back for longer than a few seconds and she alone would have not been able to keep him on the light side. But I do have to disagree when it comes to Luminara. People are a bit harsh on her because she was clearly devastated from losing Barris but she followed the jedi code because that is what she was raised to do. She trusted the force that this is how it should be. Anakin didn‘t do that at all. He completely ignored the code and his training and let his emotions and attachments rule his actions. In this case he was clearly right but Luminara is not the heartless jedi people like to paint her as. You have to relize that anakin was hardly raised (trained yes but not raised) as a jedi but luminiara was

@@Lilylilie oh, I wouldn't say she's heartless. I was a little flippant saying that she shrugged it off. She does say that she'll mourn her if she's dead and I doubt she's saying that needlessly. She isn't exactly easygoing, but she follows what she perceives to be the will of the force to an almost rigid degree. It's hard to say what other Jedi masters would do in that case but I'm inclined to think Plo Koon would have been ordering clones to clear rubble similar to Anakin (albeit more calmly). Obi-Wan and Yoda both would likely have jumped in to start looking and moving things. Mace Windu? Probably not. Shaak-Ti? Hard to say. Ki-adi-mundi probably would've reacted similarly to Lumimara but perhaps not as eloquently. Her response wasn't terrible, but she lacked the conviction to try to save her Padawan. Doesn't mean she didn't feel affection for Barriss, but it's still worth noting that even when it seemed impossible Anakin never gave up. Anakin was never willing to give up even when a superior seemed to disagree. I wouldn't say she lacks heart, what she lacks is tenacity. Then again, I do personally believe that Anakin had very legitimate grievances with the Jedi Council and that they were falling into certain corrupt avenues since before Qui-gon found him. They weren't bad, but they were misguided, and I think that shows in the flaws of all the Jedi. Lumimara had the reputation for being one of the more disciplined Jedi masters, but nonetheless an excellent Jedi.
