This hit right where it hurts. I cried during this. Ahsoka's story is probably one of the most powerful stories ever. We saw her grow, from the young, annoying, snippy, 14 year old brat, to the more mature, brave and restraint 16 year old, to the young adult that we see now. Many main characters, particularly heroes, never make mistakes. These heroes are flawless and hard to believe could exist as they don't have real world problems but the clone wars is completely different. We saw Ahsoka stuff up so many times, often getting people killed, to the point that we could relate her to normal human life. We can relate her to us. I feel a sense of dread when ever I see Ahsoka, knowing her future is heart breaking and soul crushing. I cry a lot during the clone wars and people judge me for getting to attached to a show. The clone wars brings a new light to everything and it is such an amazing show. I don't understand how people are not as attached to it as I am. The clone wars is my childhood and watching it come to an end is heart breaking. R.I.P clone wars. My childhood dies with you.

Ahsoka was raised during war that was created by one man for his personal quest for power and she got to know and lost many people during that war, including her best friend, who became an enemy of the order she believed in, who orchestrated an attack on said order and blamed her for it, forcing the order to show their distrust in her, beating her up emotionally even more. The only people who believed in her were Rex and her master, who was manipulated to become a servant for the man who created the war. She went through so much, that when she left she hoped to lead a better life possibly away from the jedi presence, but she soon learned that jedi didn't care about the people as much as she thought they did. When she was asked by her friend to help rescue a planet from a rule of a former sith assassin, she got back into the war and also experienced order 66. When the empire was created she tried to remain hidden and lead the life she hoped for after leaving the jedi order, but the new inquisitors still came after her and ended up in her fighting and watching her friends suffer and die again. She joined the rebellion in hopes of ending the tyrrany of the man that was responsible for the chaos of the wars of her youth and now the absolute rule over the galaxy, experiencing yet another war and finding out that her former master, who was like a brother to her, became a second hand man to the emperor. But she survived all that and still kept hope and selflessnes above all. That is what makes you a jedi. Not being part of an order and under the command of a council. Helping others and giving them hope in desperate times.

Ahsoka Tano is probably the best character in all of Star Wars next to Anakin Skywalker himself. Why? CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. She's a great character-not a great FEMALE character, just a great character. She's perfect because of her imperfections. Rey is flawed because she's too perfect. if they expanded on Rey as they did with Anakin in the Clone Wars, she could easily have that same love and respect that Ahsoka Tano has-I believe they can do that with the right team.
@alextaylor33804 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I can say that when I first saw TFA, I though 'While not the best, Ray has potential to be a great character.' I didn't even think that with Ahsoka... but look where we are today, Ahsoka being one of the most beloved Star Wars characters EVER while Ray is... not exactly hated, but I can't help but feel disappointed with what they have done. I can only hope for her to find her revival as a character in an animated series or even a show like the Mandalorian.
@AceHufflepuff4 жыл бұрын
@@alextaylor3380 I really hope so too because her potential was outstanding. I think a series for her where she's knocked down a couple pegs, have her suffer a bit as a lot of other characters have, rise from those sufferings....it would be amazing. Maybe actually show her grapple with the fact that she's a Palpatine that she's related to THE most evil creature in the galaxy-that would be a great storyline to focus on. Show her doubt herself more than what they did, show her actually train in the force....I'd like to see it.

We have seen her grow up in more ways then one. Not only has her future been shaped for her when she was a youngling but she managed to do something that most people now cant do, She kept going on. She grew up with the war and not knowing what a normal life is, but she didn't regret it, in fact she embraced it and was grateful. She was framed for murder, kidnapped by hunters and hunted like an animal, she died once, she was taken by pirates, had soldiers who were like her brothers die in front of her, she survived probably the most horrendous thing at her time and age (Order 66), she lost her home and mentors, she found out her brother like figure was evil and had to battle him! Like Jesus! In my own opinion she is the strongest person in star wars.

@@234zuscoutjango9 if you are poking fun at Jesus Christ by taking on his name for a little amusement, that's cool, not a problem, I'm sure Jesus had a sense of humor, but we are in a atmosphere of corrective dialogue and change so if you are not aware of the facts then please continue to read, if you are aware than god bless you and our beloved Star Wars! If you go into a Christian home, where a photo of Jesus hung on my bedroom wall. It is schmaltzy and rather tacky in that 1970s kind of way, but as a little boy I loved it. In this picture, Jesus looks kind and gentle, he gazes down lovingly. He is also light-haired, blue-eyed, and very white. The problem is, Jesus was not white. You’d be forgiven for thinking otherwise if you’ve ever entered a Western church or visited an art gallery. But while there is no physical description of him in the Bible, there is also no doubt that the historical Jesus, the man who was executed by the Roman State in the first century CE, was a brown-skinned, Middle Eastern Jew. On Good Friday, Christians attend churches to worship Jesus and, in particular, remember his death on a cross. In most of these churches, Jesus will be depicted as a white man, a guy that looks like Anglo-Australians, a guy easy for other Anglo-Australians to identify with. There was famous artworks of Jesus’ crucifixion - Ruben, Grunewald, Giotto - and again we see the European bias in depicting a white-skinned Jesus. I would even go so far as to say it creates a cognitive disconnect, where one can feel deep affection for Jesus but little empathy for a Middle Eastern person. It likewise has implications for the theological claim that humans are made in God’s image. If God is always imaged as white, then the default human becomes white and such thinking undergirds racism. Historically, the whitewashing of Jesus contributed to Christians being some of the worst perpetrators of anti-Semitism and it continues to manifest in the “othering” of non-Anglo Saxon Australians. Education is power, when we know better, we can be better. God bless you, and God Speed!!!

@@BlackMoonHawk Fun fact in Revelation chapter 1 it does describe what Jesus looked like (this was not what he looked like as a man, technically possible but I doubt it!) 12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; 13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. 14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. 16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. Revelation 1:12-16 KJV (I also don't believe that it means he is white like a white person, but truly white skinned if that makes sense lol) The Bible also says (I believe in Proverbs but I'm not certain) that Jesus was not an attractive man. We do know, however, that he had a beard. I don't believe He was a white man, but I don't believe He was a black man, either. He was probably somewhere in between. Whatever people in that area looked like, I suppose.

I grew up with this series, I first saw it when I was about 9, and I’ve loved every moment of it. I kept thinking that Anakin wouldn’t turn because he was so kind and different in this series, but that view started to break when he saw the vision of becoming Vader. Now that we’re at this point there are many tears, because I’m seeing the end come for so many beloved characters, and while I know there are many more friendships to come, it breaks me to know that Anakin and Ahsoka can never go back to how they were. Today’s episode with Rex....it physically hurt to watch. I’m glad to know that Anakin will find peace and return to the Light in the future, but what he’s done still leaves scars across the galaxy. There have been SO many points in this series where I’ve been like “oh well if they do this he won’t turn”, but ultimately the Jedi are falling due to arrogance and short sightedness, like I suppose they were doomed to do eventually. It’s been a wild ride, and I’m exited for the final episode. May the Force be with you, always.

Something I didn't realize at first but this video made me notice. The epilogue of rebels is implied to take place after Rotj given that kanan and heras son has been born and is several years old. When you see ahsoka, she's wearing a hooded cowl, I didn't remember until I rewatched clone wars, that is jedi funeral attire. Meaning when she stands there looking sad, she knows anakin is dead for real and is mourning him .

This hurts even more after watching the finale of clone wars. Growing up with this show has been one of the best things that has happened to me. Knowing these characters had transformed me into the person I am today. Especially Ahsoka, she will always be my favorite character in all of the Star Wars universe. (Writing this while ugly crying because I will miss this show with all my heart)

OMG! I found myself tearing up as I watched this. The Clone Wars story of Anakin and Ahsoka is the best in all of Star Wars. I just finished watching the end of season 7. As far as I'm concerned, Ahsoka is the best Jedi of all. Thank you for posting this video.

“Anakin...” gosh that line broke my heart in Rebels... I just finished season 2 of Rebels today after finishing the finale of Clone Wars and see that and now this... ugh. It makes me happy to feel so much love for for not only Ahsoka, but Rex, Anakin, Plo Koon, Obi Wan... they were all family... and to think Ahsoka never got to say goodbye to some. Thank you. This video is just amazing.

*Anakin kills a bunch of younglings he's now Darth Vader* Ahsoka sweetheart I'm sorry to say this but....he killed a bunch of younglings and also tried to kill Obi-Wan and he's also the reason for master plos death which he was like a father to you he had a different side to him when he was around you to be honest he could be very vile around you just to protect you😂 your master was very vile you just didn't really see it

That was beautiful. Ashoka will always be my favorite character. Back at the very beginning of star wars the clone wars, when everyone hated her (but I didn't because I was myself 10) up to now where she has grown into the best character imaginable. I cried watching season 7. It was heartbreaking.

If there was ever a true angel in Star Wars, then Ahsoka is it. She suffered and accomplished so much from an age most people wouldn’t even begin to do so. And yet despite all the hardships she went through, she remained one of the most kindest, loving, and selfless people to exist.

At first, Ahsoka really got on my nerves, but I'm truly grateful she persevered. Ashley Eckstein embodies and always will embody my Ahsoka Tano. She gifted us one of the finest characters in the vast galaxy far, far away. Meeting Ashley in person solidified my belief that she is Ahsoka. Thank you for breathing life into my beloved character.

*Here's how I would have put Ahsoka in Episode 9:* As Rey sank the sabers into the depths of Tattoine, a voice called out. "Hello there." Rey was surprised, in more ways than one; after months of training and her self-acceptance, it was hard for anyone to sneak up on her now. She turned around to face an elderly cloaked figure. The top of the cloak rose in two points; she guessed, the montrals of a Togruta. Rey knew from her travels they were a species who preferred warm climates, but a desert world like this? She was here for a reason, she had to be. The Togruta answered the unspoken question. "I've visited this place many times," a voice emerged, quiet, slow, like the ancient phantom she appeared to be, "though I've never seen you before." Blue eyes, perhaps too lively for a ghost, stared from the hood's darkness. "What's your name, young one?" "I'm Rey." A light pause. "Rey WHO?" She caught something in the old woman's words, a playfulness, an inside joke between friends. They both knew the answer. "Rey Skywalker." The old Togruta removed her hood. Ahsoka Tano smiled. "Then do I have some stories for you..."

she never had skywalker blood, but she was more skywalker then Ben would have ever been. And in the end, she's the only one that can make their memory survive.

She also learned a lot of information about the Force by Skywalker twins. Ben Solo, the last Skywalker saved her life. She has a lot of connection to them. At the very end, Luke And Leia's Force ghosts even gave Rey their blessing. She DESERVES to continue the bloodline.

ahsoka’s growth throughout her journey is phenomenal. when i started watching clone wars, i was confused why ahsoka was a fan favorite. now, after watching both ahsoka in clone wars and rebels I realized. this is why people love ahsoka tano. she’s like most of us, and is relatable unlike rey. this video is really great. keep up the good work!

Vader: Revenge is not the Jedi way... Ahsoka: I, am no Jedi. Still get chills to this day, her journey is the most impactful in all of Star Wars. George and Dave made a fantastic character, and she really grew into her own person. This line is so important because she knows the Jedi were flawed and they played a part in Anakin's downfall, she feels she is the only one who truly knows who Vader is, and the only one (currently) capable of facing off against him. On top of that it's a form of punishment to herself, for leaving the Jedi order and leaving Anakin. This scene is important because she has to come to terms with the fact that this IS her old master and perhaps if she hadn't left, things might have been different. Clone Wars and Rebels are honestly underrated.
