Man it just keeps getting worse... If there's an oscar that Disney should win is that.
I heard things of future episodes and... oh boy I'm not prepared.
To be honest, I think this is the worst first episode of all the star wars series.
I don't remember Boba's first episode but it's either that one or this one.
This is a serie of 50 minute episodes... I can tell you it does not need 50 minutes.
Not that I'm the first one to say this, anyway.
I've not watched Rebels, but uh... yeah sabine fucking sucks.
I'm sure she was better in Rebels, but woopsie daisy
I mean the video pretty much says everything I needed to say... except the long ass pauses in the dialogues.
But yeah, serie bad. Disney no good. Same old same old.

Your editing is absolute top tier work, the way you insert some of those captions had me laughing all by itself. Plus the musical cues and inserts you use, it's like you're doing a self-explaining review and a clever YTP at the same time. Gura s p e e n makes for the perfect screen protection too, fits right in tonally. Special thanks for pointing out the absolute clownery that is fight scenes. They're not even trying, even lightsabers don't mean shit anymore (remember how it used to be a Force user-only weapon because it's trivial to hurt or kill yourself with one without Force aimbot reflexes?). Sabers don't even singe hair or damage all that billowing cloth. It feels like Disney Wars legit just treats them like steel swords (and lest we forget, this is from Filoni, who somehow tried to sell us that you can use a spinning saberstaff as a heli screw and FLY through that, even though saber blades are basically incorporeal). And the moves... it's just school drama club pretenders swinging styrofoam sticks on stage and expecting the audience to imagine something more impressive. Prequels with the actual stunt training for actors feel like they were made in a different universe from this. And, shit, they even forget that droids are robots, not men in costumes, and can't be handled the same. I can't fathom how any people can watch these latest shows for real and tolerate the cringeworthy levels of suck and insults to audience intelligence. This shit would be laughed at in mid-20th century B-movies. Thanks for making watching the last of Star Wars dissolve and burn under its new masters bearable with the jokes and observations. I hope you do later Azz-sokka episodes too. (And don't miss the amount of gratuitous booty shots, seems like that's the only thing the show has going for it in any way.)

I completely forgot you're not even supposed to be good with lightsabers if you're not sensitive to the force- For how bad TFA was, it at least had some resemblance of that inexperience with Finn. I only sorta hope for maybe one more entry on the Azz-soka saga when it's over. I do agree that this first episode was so bad it was worth its own entry, but by the same virtue, with how little happens in any episode of this slow-ass show and how long that takes, you can probably compress it all into one go and not lose anything. A mate of mine has recently picked up KOTOR, watching him play through it makes me feel like Obi-Wan in A New Hope. Even with all its weaknesses... an elegant thing from a more civilized age.

Without people like you who question what exactly is being pushed into your brain and then work through it in a humorous way, more and more people become stupid and don't even know what they are actually missing. I usually go by criticizing these movies and shows from a story perspective more than digging on what the actors intentions are. It wasn't just that the text scroll was in red, or straight, or left-aligned. It was that it was in Arial font that got me. The kind of text scroll you'd expect from an amateur production. When the Governor opened the memorial service, he said "It has been several years...". Now, meta wise we know this is a Star Wars trope of not giving a precise description of time, but this is a memorial service. To remember. Imagine if the mayor of New York opened the 9/11 remembrance service with the words "It has been several years..." Utterly insulting. Another way Shin could have ended the fight (with the benefit of hindsight) is just Force Choke Sabine. Or throw her away. It's demonstrated she has no Force ability, so she can't simply "cancel out" any Force attack.

Imma respond to each point: 1. It's not actually Arial, I checked. I totally belive this is a thing they could end up doing but luckily they didn't mess up here. The original Star Wars crawl (1977) uses a font calleD "Trade Gothic LT Std Bold No. 2", which is very very similar to Arial. They either used that or another version of it (condensed, narrow). I made you a little screenshot to compare: i.ibb.co/wWktjjs/image.png You can really see it in the G being different. There's also the E and the R that are quite a tell, but less obvious 2. Lmfao you're right. I didn't think about that "Our saviour saved us uh... how long ago was it.... idk some while ago today i think" 3. I wish I could say it demonstrates that she doesn't have force abilities, but they'll probably make her use them later on. Regardless, yeah force choking would have been another option

1. My impressions from the temple scene A. "So this is a Jedi Temple's Cloister of Trials?" B. "All we need is an on-screen timer and this ending is a Metroid fan film. Actually no, the fan movie starring a bridesmaid from That's My Boy was better" 2. If you overdub the Beastie Boys' "Sabotage" over the Sabine speeder scene you'll see what they were going for, but why did the E-Wings give up the chase? Are they slower than a bike? And why would you send a starfighter to chase down a bike?

Just to quickly address your speeder chase questions- You do ask if the ships are slower, which I'm sure you are not asking it seriously but I'm gonna answer anyways That can't be the reason why they gave up, since we see them both catch up and go faster than the speeder The scene I think implies that: "She showed she's not gonna be stopped, so I might as well respect that and stop the chase early" Porter, who is also implied to be at least friendly with Sabine given the way they spoke to each other, nodded to her as a show of recognition of what she did/what she wants to do. It is stupid, however, that he does this as he himself said he has orders. He was intending to stop her and I don't see why one bike slide (which should have killed her) would make him ignore his literal job. In fact, they do not address the fact that the girl guard did not go back on the chase after being avoided. She does not have the same friendly relation that Porter does, and she would most definitely want to do her job without caring about Sabine's feelings. Nor did they address how the guards did not get punished for letting her go. The starfighters, however, can and do make sense. They sent those as those are most likely the only guard vehicle. And since they _are_ faster, they are perfect for chasing the speeder down. Not to mention, the aerial view gives them an advantage. Think of why we send a helicopter when chasing a car making an escape

I think they intended to use a landspeeder instead (we need The Bread Circus to get us the E-Wing cruising speed and prove that Sabine could not have escaped!)

I honestly think you could just replace Ahsoka with a carboard cutout that has a little pull string voice box on it and the non action scenes would remain the same. She's unbearably stale in this because Filoni just relies on what you've seen before to be projected onto her so he doesn't have to do any character work beyond vague platitudes This show is just sad because it shows they're really scraping the bottom of the barrel for member berries if they going for *Rebels* for "Look! They don't have form and they can cut through virtually anything (except Beskar) by just making contact with it. They don't need to do funni spin moves for more weight. These are not steel swords they're fighting with.

Sometimes she is referred to by people as a rumored "Jedi" and other times it's just "Who are you?" I don't think there was ever a time where she corrected them or claimed she was one, it's hard to remember. She kinda just vibes, but yes, she was NEVER a Jedi Knight, always a Padawan (officially). But she WAS the Jedi to singlehandedly put all the pieces into place that made the Rebellion before it even officially got that name. She connected Ortega, Leia, Hera and her crew, Mandalor, old Clone Commanders, etc. As this pseudo off the grid mastermind against the Empire. Meanwhile Obi-Wan and Yoda kinda just chickened out while the rest of the Jedi went into hiding. She trained the chick in the Saber fight (Sabine), another one Ezra, and also singlehandedly took on the Inquisitors and Vader for a time during the start of the Rebellion. Anywho, even if we DON'T take those details into account, all of the stuff that I've seen from your video already proves to be laughably bad anyways. Thank you for the good editing and commentary, you should do more of that with your friends!

According to various sources on the internet, Baylan and Shin are not sith Rather they are some sort of mercenaries/fallen jedi/dark jedi It's also mentioned how Baylan has a more orange saber than a true red one The knight lookin ass guy instead is not a sith either. He seems to have an inquisitor sword but is more like a goon they had summoned with some witch shit I don't really know details lmao

Of course Ahsoka knew where the droids were above, it’s simple sense of objects and where they are in the world around you. What Yoda taught Luke is ESB. Eve also seen shackles coming off with the force before, Palpatine does it in ROTJ, Hell, pretty sure we see it in TCW a few times. You people are impossible to please. Another thing people don’t seem to get, is that the New Republic is meant to be unprepared for force sensitive beings. The Galaxy hasn’t seen Jedi in 53 years at this point in the timeline. The only force sensitive people who are in the headlines would be Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader and Palpatine (only those closest to him knew he was Sith).
