I think we have a tiny bit of Ezra in the hologram that Sabine is looking at. I'm also pretty sure that some of those shots are taking place exactly at the epilogue, and Sabine's hair is just longer in live action than what it was at the end of Rebels.

We did get photos of the cast at Celebration and they showed Sabine in full armor with the shorter hair. So yeah either she cuts her hair later in the show back to be shorter, or she simply grows it out by the time of the show. Since the shot they show of recreating Rebels ending has her with long hair, im betting they do a slight rewrite that she grows her hair out after the Rebellion ends after she stops fighting, and then cuts it short again after joining up to find Ezra

Yes, it's definitely Ezra! He's wearing the same outfit he wore in his final transmission to the Ghost in the Rebels finale. So exciting! The only character we didn't see was Zeb, but we got to see a preview of him in the Mandalorian, so not too disappointed. I know he'll be there!

To that, at the Convention they've shown a replica of that Mural we see in "Rebels" and it was supposedly seen on the set of "Ahsoka" Series as well. Back when "Rebels" ended, the New Republic wasn't a thing yet. So this could be just Filloni remaking that scene with the current state of the Galaxy.

There were reports last year that Lars Mikkelsen, who voiced him in Rebels, was returning to play the live action version but the actor himself said in January that he hadn't been asked to return. He could very well be lying of course and it's weird that Lucasfilm haven't announced any casting for the character.

I think even more than you think on top of it. They are using the world between world symbolism in Ahsoka's logo for the show for a reason. I think a majority of this season is going to be build-up, but I see it like this: Bad Batch season 3 reveals the full plans of the Emperor's cloning, then after season 3 of Bad Batch, Ahsoka season 2 comes out and she uses the world between worlds to thwart Palpatine's original plan in time to revive himself (pushing the sequels to an alternate timeline). This will also probably result somehow in the world between worlds never being accessible again.

I think they're meant to be red, it's probably just an effect of them using physical lightsabers as opposed to digitally recreating the blade, with the latter being able to recreate the white center of the blade

A few points of interest: We see a clear inspiration and homage to the original book series by Timothy Zahn, the so-called Thrawn trilogy from legends. In the trailer, Ahsoka even says the name of the first book, Heir of the Empire. Orange lightsabers are unprofessionally homemade, unstable, similar to Kylo Ren's. This is a reference to the Dark Forces Jedi Knight game series, where the dark Jedi cult had such swords. From this series, we could already see Dark Troopers used in The Mandalorian. Filoni is a big fan of Legends and uses the best of them in the canon. Dark Jedi - not inquisitors, there are speculations in the trailer that it will be Jorus C'Baoth and Mara Jade. We see Ezra for the first time on the hologram. Hera actor is the wife of Ewan McGregor :)

I want Thrawn’s face reveal to happen in the show and tease him with his theme before he appears. Also, I’m not sure when exactly the end of Rebels flash-forward takes place in comparison to Ashoka’s appearance in The Mandalorian, but hope we get some scenes to bridge the gap. It would be so tight if we got a flashback montage from Rebels with Ezra helping Ahsoka after the Vader fight, then a flash forward to the Rebels finale.

One detail I find incredibly interesting is that the young female Dark Side user is wielding a lightsaber that looks exactly like Kanan’s. It would make sense if Thrawn gave it to his new Force sensitive allies because he had it at the end of Rebels. You know that will not sit well with Ezra. I can imagine him at some point having to duel with her and taking back the saber, then probably giving it to Jacen.

With everything that Temuera Morrison has been involved in, from the random clone beggar in Kenobi, to one-line cameos for other shows and Order 66 flashbacks, there's not doubt that he'll play Captain Rex in this show. However, I DO NOT want him to be part of this adventure, he should just be a cameo. Not only is he extremely old at this point, and therefore outranks everyone, hes gone through too much. Let him retire on his ATAT Joppa with what's left of his brothers (just Wolffe at this point) in peace.

I had the privilege of getting in the Lucasfilm Film/TV panel. Watching this trailer on the big screen was amazing. I was also very impressed with the Acolyte, Skeleton Crew and Andor teaser trailers that came out. The Skeleton Crew trailer in particular gave me the ‘Amblin’ 80s vibe in many of the shots.

I love that I am just old enough to have grown up/out of childhood with Rebels, being 19 now, turning 20 and having been 11 when Rebels first started. I feel truly lucky to be the generation I am. I grew up with Clone Wars as a child, which slowly matured as I did. Then Rebels came along which was good fun for four years as I entered high school. Then Clone Wars came back for the darkest arc of all, which hit so much harder and darker since I had been allowed to grow up, so watching my childhood get it's incredibly dark but 100% deserved ending was amazing. And now Bad Batch is a sort of continuation of the clone's story which continues to get even darker, the tragedy of which hits harder for someone who had the childhood where the Clones were the most gallant heroes, to now be an adult and see them treated so unjustly. And now five years after the end of Rebels, we get this, for which I'm at just the right age to have that same feeling of childhood nostalgia over even though the show only ended five years ago. The age and generation that I am has allowed me to experience some of these Star Wars shows as a child, and then to be an adult for their more serious sequel series which prey on the nostalgic childhood emotions and memories that I have for their predecessors. It's an amazing thing and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Now that I’ve processed for a minute. Lol That’s Ezra in the hologram. Completely agree that that’s the Vergence Scatter, World Between Worlds. Which begs the question, are they retconning the sequel trilogy? I don’t think so, never have. This definitely throws fuel on that discussion fire though.
