New Orleans averaging around 250 killings a year since 1990 is insane when considering the population's been under 500k the entire time.

Chicago not even top 10 murder rate they just got a a major population like 2.7 million so they numbers gone be higher than smaller cities and social media and rappers put the spotlight on Chicago and got everybody thinking it's the worse when cities like new orleans, baltimore, st.louis and Jackson ms are worse. St Louis murder rate was 87 per 100k in 2020 and that beat the country's record which was new orleans in 1994.
