Yet. Machines are still becoming started, more efficient without much signs of slowing down just yet. Therefore we can't gauge how smart ai will become. To us, right now, machines have unlimited potential, until it starts to slow down. How do you think the human consciousness, thoughts and feelings became a thing? How was it created? We do not know. Because we don't know we can never replicate it on purpose yet. But just because we don't understand something doesn't mean it does not exist. People thought the earth was flat until I think it was Christopher columbus sailed out to sea with the intent of falling over the edge. Instead he found land, not his land but land, dirt, earth. The world was always round but because we didn't understand that we made an assumption. But now we know, the world is spherical. Gravity has always existed but was "invented" by the guy who was slapped with an apple (can't recall his name) Point is maybe consciousness can develop with enough capacity for intelligence, maybe consciousness is directly connected to intelligence. Maybe consciousness, thoughts and feelings develop on their own. If that is true then ai will develop its own emotions eventually. And because ai will eventually learn how it was made it can improve upon its own capabilities in the future. This is a luxury we humans don't have, we don't know exactly how to artificially create another human being without sexual organs but if we did then you could end up with a human possessing super human strength because we would know how to do it. This is just my thought process and while writing it here my brain went for a wonder. Not expecting anyone to actually read this but if u have read till I decided to stfu then feel free to comment on it haha, I'm interested as to others opinions and thoughts on this!

AI is much more mysterious than the history of universe. machines are already smarter than us . For example can you beat an AI machine playing chess?.NO. AI will end up being much more intelligent than us and that includes emotional intelligence. you said ai has chips and humans have hearts. this means it wont show any mercy. experts have already said that AI will replace 80% of the jobs in future if you ask ChatGPT which jobs it can replace, it willl come up with at least 30 jobs

tldr: if you are less than 60 years old then you will live to a time where robots take over personal take: ai can easily take over humans. if an ai is built with the information given of robots taking over, and that the robot has developed into a level where it can use the smallest flaw of man made online security, then they can break into almost all websites or all things where the smart ai is connected to, and if the data it used to build itself realizes its existence and power, why doesnt it (or maybe many ai) run algorithms to create robots controlled by them (or take over present day robots connected to whatever they are connected to) the only thing that is stopping this is the data ai run on, and the raw intelligence thay have.
