AI Assistant to Chat with Supabase Database

Would there be an advantage to using creating a vector database on top of firebase or supabase? I am new to it all, but essentially i want to create the same workflow, but have it optimized in speed and cost to navigate through a large catalogue of products, then generate text using open ai with. I keep hearing stuff about vector databases but am confused if openai already does it, or if its necessary if I'm already using firebase. Thank you!

OpenAI only does the LLM models and Embedding models. The vector database is usually from database providers such as supabase, pinecone, astraDB or mongoDB

Thanks for your feedback :) currently you can clone the workflow and delete the trigger and add the get and post trigger in two seperate workflows. But soon you will have ability to add multiple triggers to same workflow. Hope that helps :)
