It feels like the wheel is more reliable, since it doesn't give duplicates. Though doing the same while allowing duplicates AND making it a best of 7 instead of elimination match would work. And you pick the order in which to deploy them, so might go for mind games and bring out your best ones against the worst ones.

Suggestion for a possible round. Let your Patreon/Membership supporters (and/or Moderators) give you a list of potential nicknames which you spin on a wheel. Then you have to find and tame the first creature you see which could fit that nickname (minus the usual exceptions) and you have to give a very good reason behind why that creature should fit when you send them out for battle. Your opponent has the chance to try and refute that Nickname should it not be obvious why it fits. If the Nickname is successfully refuted, the slot becomes null and void (might need to call in a judge for this). Example: With the Nickname "Blue" you could go for anything which might have a blue colouration. My first thought is going for a Shadowmane as they can have vibrant potentially blue colours, but if you come across something else along the way .... well then :P Now, of course, if the Nickname is "Blue Death" you could avoid blue things which are normally passive. To make it more interesting, maybe use individual community suggestions for each of you so you are pulling from two different lists.

What a fun way to end (not really the end) to the Dingle Cup series for now, having an AI pick your tames is an interesting one choice you both did here today. However, the 4 season of the Monarky series is coming and it's going to take place on Aberration. The only reason why I know this is because I've seen the moded version of this map, but this might be how Aberration may have been before it became the broken ark we all know today.
