So I kid you not, I watched the WEF video on their youtube channel , then i refresh the page to watch it again and WEF pulled the video from there youtube channel, they were talking all about the "concerns". you covered most of what they talked about, however they talked about employers using brain hats for employee brain transparency, monitoring an employee thoughts to make sure using their minds are ready to work at all times or face termination , they talked about it as if it will be ubiquitous, i will look for another copy of the video if i find it I will post a reply to this thread, PS thanks for the content over the years you've really kept my finger on the pulse of this emerging science, thanks @CodyRallMD

Someone like Apple needs to do some deep pocket reaserch and create ai models that make eeg useful for interactive uses. The Vision Pro would be a great base to begin with.

Great video! There's many takeaways here as a game developer. Thinking about future AI integrations with games EEG will be an absolutely fascinating part. Speech is being pushed heavily with AI tech but I believe most people would find it even more intuitive and convenient to direct AI with simply thoughts. I would reduce the amount of AI generated images though or improve the quality significantly before. They show very unrealistic and strange depictions of EEG tech and creepy human features. I'd much rather see images from real people working with the tech.

Sitting in a chair doing reading exercises for 4 hours or 50-100 hours of my old phone data (You know, when you say ok to something in terms and conditions and don't know what it means)? Cody, you need to get a sponsorship from one of those "Pay us to force people to get rid of your data" places (because in 10 years they will be reading your mind). My only problem is I can't tell if I pay them if they actually did anything.

It needs to be specific for now. Like watching hundreds of hours of KZbin videos in a lab without distractions, with specific markers about what you are watching. Phone data probably wouldn't work because it wasn't marked properly or taken in the right context. Too much noise, too many variables.

Crown is awesome to put you in focus state, but I don't have a problem getting into focus, I and many others have problem staying in focus and it doesn't help there. I did talk to the founder and they are aware of it and hopefully they will come up with a solution for that.

Bet it could already be done with only a smartphone given enough time of data just because it's a radio and the whole screen is a bunch of tiny capacitors it should be possible to at least get a really rough estimate of ones mental state just from analysis of the same thing these devices measure
