EchoTech - www.echotech.ai/ I was invited to test the beta of an artificial intelligence (AI) add-on called Magic Mode for wheelchairs. Magic Mode Magic Mode is an AI-powered assistant designed by EchoTech for wheelchairs that simplifies navigation by automatically maneuvering the wheelhair around obstacles. In this video, I take you with me to try out this wheelchair autopilot!

Hey buddy. AI is definitely making leaps and bounds in making life easier and more accessible for us, sadly not so much over here in the UK 🇬🇧, fingers crossed we will begin to catch up as I’d love to experience some of the features for myself. Your point raised about having the wheelchair self adjust whilst travelling down/up inclines is definitely a major point for the designers to incorporate in their further development of the system and I think they genuinely appreciated your input which was great to see. Sending love and prayers from the UK 🇬🇧 as always. God Bless Bro👏💜👍🙏🤗♿️ #ForeverPromotingPositiveDisabilityAwareness #Accessibility #Ppda

What is LUCI? Thank you for watching and commenting!
@purpleologist5 ай бұрын
@masonx54 The creators of LUCI have created cameras all around the power wheelchair that keep you from bumping into things, being able to back up, and stopping the chair from going off curbs and such that are too high. It's expensive, and while I've not tried it personally, it's supposed to be great for independence and safety.

Hmm, i dunno Mason. I had this wild thought...and call it a fear even...of an Ai controlled wheelchair like this someday strapping you in and doing 40MPH around target someday. Your arms flailing all around as you scream STOP!! But, it paying no attention. Every once in a while it stops and talks to some cute girl in a voice copying yours and makes suggestive statements and you screaming..that's not me!! The chair with you in it pulling up to a cashier and again..in your voice, telling them this is a holdup and give me all your money. Then, taking off out of the store, crashing into people and objects... yelling get the he** out of my way!! Getting you out to your AI controlled van, hauling you up the ramp and in it...and taking off courtesy of all Elon's technology. Don't discount this from happening !! The world of Ai is going to be a VERY different place indeed. 😂 ps: other than that..pretty cool chair and video. 🙂
