[AI Cover] Hoshimachi Suisei - Aqua Iro Palette

I always find myself returning to this song, huh? This time though, instead of a vain AZKi mashup, we're making something that Suisei has effectively denied the Hoshiyomi for months.
Before you ask, I took the pitch down three semitones to better match the version of Aqua Iro Palette found in the Hololive Shuffle Medley. I know this will never equate to that performance, but I like to see this cover as more of a "what if" rather than a replacement.
AI used: So-Vits-SVC (courtesy of the Pony Preservation Project)
Instrumental and vocals taken from stems provided by Cover.

This model was custom-trained on 66 minutes and 41 seconds of audio data.
No official songs by Cover were used in training data to comply with Cover's Derivative Works Guidelines.
No explicit extraction of talent voices were performed to the training data in order to comply with Cover's Derivative Works Guidelines.

The model used doesn't need labelled data (the one the video author put in the description). Specifically, it doesn't use text as an intermediary at all but rather soft speech units (hence the So in So-Vits-SVC). Audio is encoded into SSUs and the model is tuned to decode SSUs back into Suisei's voice. Also, manually labelling data is... an ancient method.

It's good for an AI generated sound, but it is not that similar to the real Suisei voice. 'Her' voice here is kinda.... flat and makes me feels weird because the usual Suisei's voice is powerful and has a lot of vibra in it.

AI can get close. But honestly what you hear in this vid is about the best it can be for a while. It's just... kind of impossible to replicate human emotion and ability by using algorithms and machine learning. I mean it's straight up plagiarism. Which, for a free vid like this is fine I guess.
