Just got a new job for IT in sales for a small company. Thinking about ways to setup AI. WOW I've been using AI since gpt 4 to learn programming and IT... This is next level and made me realize I need an AI voice personal assistant! I have a 7800 xt... I think that can run some good AI.

This is crazy, I just showed ChatGPT this diagram and I said if you don't figure it out I'll tell you what it's about. It nailed it. Here is the response: The image depicts a conceptual framework illustrating how AI tooling enhances the role of engineers or developers in the future. 1. **Ingest Phase (Left Side)**: - The engineer collects data and inputs from various sources: - Databases - Codebases - Documentation - Blogs, Trends, News, Research 2. **AI Tooling (Center)**: - AI acts as a productivity multiplier for engineers, represented by: - **2x** through text or document processing (NLP tools). - **5x** by using automated coding assistants (AI code generation tools). - **10x** through voice-based interfaces, boosting efficiency. - **100x** exponential gains via continual AI refinement or massive automation. 3. **Synthesize Phase (Right Side)**: - The output from the engineer, enhanced by AI, can be transformed into: - Code - Information/Research - Media - Products Conclusion: The future engineer is significantly empowered by AI, using it as a core multiplier of their productivity across various domains, fundamentally transforming the software development process.

Love it! ✊ what’s your take on the current Agent Framework developments e.g. like swarm by OpenAI. Part of the stack or too much hype or too early yet to tell who sets the standards?

Very cool, just wondering how much you have spent until today on the Realtime API. It appears to be astronomically expensive. For me a couple of minutes already equates to 10 USD
@bsqrd16 сағат бұрын
Yeah the pricing will have to come down before I can realistically use this unfortunately :/

I watched your videos, and started using Aider with Claude to work with a codebase, with o1 assisting me on the side (still waiting for Tier 3 o1 API access to kick in). I'm finding that large files just gobble up tokens, and o1 prices seem like they are 10x of working with Claude. I also found that with large files Tier 2 Claude isn't enough, as rate limits kick in within like 1-3 hours of coding if I'm careless, and require micromanaging large files to get around them and be able to work all day. I'd like to hear you say more about how much money one should be expected to drop upfront for Tier access to APIs that would be required for uninterrupted work for various use cases, and how much we'd have to burn per hour or per day to sustain different kinds of workflows you're talking about, including Ada in if's current form. I'm aware all this will soon get a lot cheaper, but these are the troubles I found myself having to navigate right now as I dive into this space.

@EmilioGagliardi8 сағат бұрын
Just found your channel, absolutely reasonate with your proposed path. That ada assistant is sweet, but what are the costs? As someone trying to learn on a budget, I think I saw an estimate that the real-time API is like 0.05 USD / minute? What are you finding? Definitely following along now! Cheers,
@Eriiiiiiiick16 сағат бұрын
Nice vision sir.
@ibzilla0075 сағат бұрын
At $200 per million tokens for realtime, and o1 maxing out tokens it's too expensive in the near term to use these tools especially if a tool like o1 uses agents. We will have to wait for prices to go down 10x to make it worthwhile.
@K.F-R10 сағат бұрын
Amazing work. Thanks so much for sharing. Did you see sawyer hood's browser control demo on xitter? He didn’t share the code, but shows some extremely useful features that would integrate well into Ada. (Repost, YT deleted me; I assume for using X's old name. Odd call censoring that, KZbin bot.)

The last stage, the agentic self executing phase, is not 3-5-10 years out. You just need the right framework for them. I have that framework Dan, I just don't have your S/W skill set! Of course I won't need it once AI is ready. Every thing else you said is pretty much dead on.
