Autonomous Train (UTO) are not considered as AI application.

The thing is there are 4 Grades of Automation of trains. The first stages don't necessarily imply AI usage. However, to achieve GoA4 or full autonomy (unattended train operation without any staff on board), trains should be equipped with advanced technologies (high-precision sensors, cameras, positioning systems, etc.). These components are typically based on AI and feature ML capabilities that allow for implementing of safe, efficient, and fully autonomous operations.
